Seriously though, we're totally fine off with Gregor Blanco over Melky. Chemistry's been fantastic, hitting hasn't slacked other than a few homers gone, aaaaaaand yeah. We got this far, right?

A kid at my school died this morning around 2AM when riding in a car with 3 other kids that crashed into a house. My school is fairly new, so it's the first time a student here has ever died. I didn't know him, but it feels like all of a sudden here it became illegal to be happy. I'm sorry for everyone who knew him.

Was he in the car with his friends?

Yeah. They took the car even though none of them had licenses, and of them took a turn at about 100 mph on a wet road and crashed.

Call me cold hearted, but I don't feel bad. At all. I mean, why would you do something that stupid!?

Something kinda similar happened back in April. Two girls who went to my school decided t would be fun to run across a four lane road and long story short, one of them got hit and died the next week. Everyone was sad, wanted the driver arrested and whatnot. Then there was a huge prayer in the courtyard and I refused to go because A. I'm not religious and B. I didn't feel bad for her. I mean, if you're obeying simple laws is one thing. But when you do stupid stuff for the fun of it or to try and be a rebel, why should you deserve pity?

I know. That's why it feels weird to feel bad about it. He died for stupid reasons by doing something stupid. I guess I feel more pity for the people who are affected by it.

I honestly feel the same way about that situation.

Also, me and d-tigers are true blue Tigers fans, so we're gonna be rooting for them all the way, but I honestly think it'll go either 6 or 7, but even if we win, the MSM (mainstream media) will never give us credit.

Because the Tigers shouldve easily made it this far and win the World Series, on paper, the Tigers are basically the best team in the MLB other than possibly the Nationals or Rangers.

Everyone seems to have the idea that, because we signed Prince Fielder, we're now some super high-paid powerhouse like the Yankees (See Zero's comment).

The opposite is quite true, as we have many young/underdog players on our roster. For example:

Andy Dirks
Quintin Berry
Drew Smyly
Avisail Garcia
Al Albuquerque
Danny Worth
Phil Coke
Gerald Laird
Austin Jackson (maybe not an underdog per se, but having a breakout season and is not high paid)

Sure we're the 5th or 6th highest paid team in the league, but most of that goes to Fielder, Cabrera, and Verlander. In addition, Victor Martinez is earning $12.5 million while rehabbing from an injury, and an additional $7 million goes to the under-performing Jose Valverde.

Yes, I'm saying that's what everyone thinks. They do have young underdog players that have big potential especially Dirks. They definitely need credit winning the WS, becuase they shouldn't have made it this far.
