I think Putz still closes, the Marlins fans probably won't even notice, and um, the only thing I can think of is Cespedes in LF, Crisp/Young platoon in CF, and Reddick in RF. Though Beane is probably thinking up some master plan as we speak...

I'd have to say the A's are the winners here.

I believe the most logical move would be trading Reddick back to the Sox for 10 bucks, two hot dogs, a bag of peanuts, and a seat on top of the monster behind a sweaty fat dude

And PPJ, as much as I'd like the think that, I'm not sure how they win here

And then Smith or Gomes at DH. I agree, Beane is probably thinking up something right now..

I think the A's are but the D'Backs are a close second.

I didn't see Young to the Athletics but they might consider converting Gomes or Young to first, but Smith can already play some first.

Does anybody know some good books or series'?

Mike Lupica's my favorite for sports books. I read mostly sports books.

I thought it was the best one of Season 2, myself.

That, or the Steve Jobs v. Bill Gates battle, anyways.

Depends on the genre you're looking to read, though I probably won't be able to help too much given the fact that I read 96% nonfiction (which is funny since I write fiction stories).

I'd say the Percy Jackson series and the Heroes of Olympus series. They are my favorite books in the world. Make sure you read the Percy Jackson series first.

And they are all amazing.

Past that, I read a lot of Sherlock Holmes, and some Jules Verne and Robert Louis Stevenson.
