I love this thread, a place to put my wonderful oddball thoughts.

Why is that the most innocesnt looking foods coming out smelling like a port-a-potty at a all-you-can-eat chilli and refried bean festival in babies? Once you have too change a babies diaper after feeding it minced carrots or even apple sauce you will unfortunately understand. Words can barely discribe the stomach turning aroma, I still have nightmares about some of those smells.....thank god both of my kids are out of diapers.

i wonder the same thing about this technologically advanced civilization everyday.

Your not a Meat Loaf fan uh? Comes from my favorite song, Life is a Lemon. You know your a nut for a certain singer when you spend $400 for two front row seats not including two trips, one time he was sick, to Orlando plus hotel fees.


The other part of my sig comes form another song off his Monster Is Loose album.

You take four people from differant parts of the world and put them in a room and see if they can hold a converstation. Since sign language, barring rules from grammer and differant spelling, is the same in every country then that group of four would be able to speak to eachother if they know sign language. With this reasoning, I ask the question.....


Why isn't sign lanaguage taught in school along side of reading, writing, arthmatic?

Somwhere earlier, it was said that schools get the first budget cuts when it comes to funding, it would cost too much money.

That's the thing, they weren't starving at the ceremonies. They weren't paid with money, they were paid with the 1st meal they had in over a month.

What do you mean? China spent millions of dollars on the ceremonies. They also bulldozed villages to make room for new stadiums.

If no one worshipped, studied, or did acts in the name of a god would that god still exsit?

Here's my point:

We have been through the Greeks and Romans with their many gods such as Zeus, Odin, Aries, Thor, and gods of all things that could not be ready explained. Then we moved on to the Egyptians which still had a lot but maybe not as many as the Greeks and Romans. Then the Christians and their believe in just one God and Jesus. I see things as a progression and sooner-or-later something will come along to replace Christianity. When that happens, when no one builds chruchs, when no one studies the bible, when no one does deeds in the name of Jesus, will God still continue to exsit? Does the Romans and Greek gods still exsit eventhough no one any longer believes in them? Can a God still exsit if he has no more followers?

Why is it that once the the batteries on the TV remote begin to fade you will: pound on the buttons, waze the the remote in the air, move items from anywhere near the tv, play with the batteries trying to find a magic combination....you will do ANYTHING at all except get up and go to the junk drawer and get new batteries.
