I know. I was merely supplementing the argument by denoting the fact that their impact this week was nil anyways (a tiny incentive, possibly, to pull the trigger this week), and Jennings hasn't been decent at all this year, meaning I'd be taking a big flier on his health.

(Well, this went nowhere, but I wanted to do this update for fun)

Well folks, we're almost half way through fantasy football season, and we're going to go team by team to see how they've been doing.

First off are the Humongous Melonheads, coached by D-Tigers. They currently have the best record in the league at 5-1 due to multiple factors. The first one is his teams consistency. While he didn't select any up-and-coming sleeper, every singles player on his team has played well, save Fred Jackson. While the Lions as a whole have been disappointing, you can't blame their high-power passing game with Stafford and Johnson, both of whom play for the Melonheads. But probably the biggest reason this team has done so well is flat-out luck. They currently have the least amount of Points Against, which basically measures how good or bad a teams performance has been. They have only played against 560.5, almost 200 points better than last place. They sit at third in Points For (which actually measures how good a team has been). 3rd is still pretty good, but it shows they aren't quite deserving of the best record. None-the-less, look for them to make the playoffs and have a chance at the title.

Next is the Skittle Monsters, coached by yours truly. They sit at a very good 4-2. Their two losses were Week 2 against the Melonheads (where they only scored 84, their only game below 119 points) and Week 3 against the Phoenix (the Phoenix's lone win, they scored a whopping 139 points, enough to beat the Monsters by 15.5). They lead the league with 717 Points For, more than 50 better than second place! They have been arguably the best team due to having some of the best players in the game. Rodgers and Gonzalez have been the best players at their positions, while Charles and Harvin have each been the third best at Running Back and Wide Receiver, respectively. Currently on a 3 game winning streak, the Monsters look poised to make a huge championship run come December. These guys look like the team to beat.

Also, I've just been inactive as heck in the league, not bad per se (though SJax has been disappointing). Been focusing on the money... gonna try to make a small comeback here, though.

Same here, I keep forgetting to make my lineup changes before Thursday and that's probably the main reason I'm 2-4 right now.

Honestly, as long as Matty Ice and Julio Jones perform (and MJD picks it up) I'm fine, because those guys are on my other team... and SJax, unfortunately. But yeah, I need Matt to keep his possible MVP season going after the bye and for him to keep firing it to Julio Jones is all... my RB's are crappy (MJD and Sjax are okay and bad, and my only other guy right now is William Powell), but I have a very solid receiving corps: Jones, Demaryius Thomas, Vincent Jackson, Torrey Smith, Malcolm Floyd, and Aaron Hernandez as my TE. I think all I really need is to deal a WR or two off so I can get a good RB in return, and I could have a good shot at getting in the money (I'm 4-2 right now, leading my division).

Are you talking about this league or your money league?

Ok, just checking. At first I thought you were talking about the Phoenix (because that's the league this thread is about), but when you said you owned Vincent Jackson, it occurred to me you much be talking about another

It seems as though Anthony and I will be playing for the title, while AgentP and D-Tigers are fighting for a spot on the podium. And then Phillies and S-Jax are just, disapponting...

Yeah, it seemed like they totally forgot about the league.

But anyways, hope I win!
