Hey Lucy, please check your spelling and don't write in chat speak. Sorry, but I can barely understand anything you've written and it's just not worth the effort so I skip it. Please, take the time to use semi-proper english. I hate to nag so much, but chat-speak like that and mispellings drive me insane.

Oh sorry cause i have a really bad habit of doing this. ok so i need center fielder and third baseman I have checked out zimmerman and he is quite good.....I tried to do a double trade like Milky and A-Rod for Longoria and B J Upton but i didnt even get a star so its kinda difficult to get other teams to trade away their top young players

last time I checked, trade A-Rod and 500 points (prob not needed, but it helps a bit) for zimmerman only.

The good news about this year's season mode is that teams respond to trades faster.
For Melky...well...you can keep him, or trade (with points) for someone like granderson or sizemore

I have to agree on Sizemore. He's a great player, with good speed, and is only making around 390 points. Ryan Church is also another good player who can play RF and CF and doesn't cost a lot either.

As far as a good 3B, Brendan Harris is a decent, cheap option. He probably doesn't have the same upside as Longoria, but he's quite a bit cheaper on the short term and hits for contact a little better.

Yea i did consider sizemore but i needed a package to send both A-Rod n Milky away for a 3rd Base n CF. Oh yeh the reason i wanted longoria n upton is cause they were like young n i did not have to worry about the future.

I just looked at the transactions and was shocked to see that the Cincinatti Reds got Chien-Ming Wang, Sean Henn AND Morgan Ensberg all for Joey Votto (all F-E)

Wow yankee's are dumb...The big flaw in this game is that some of the trades are unrealistic like the one you metioned and one more where the yankee's traded away ian kenndy and some other guy for jake peavy (This will not happen in real life!) Padres arn't dumb lol......

I traded Sean Casey (last year of contract) for Tim Lincecum.
And, Curt Schilling(last year of contract) for Ryan Braun and Manny Parra.
And last but not least, Manny Ramirez for Kosuke Fukudome.

I also got a steal in free agency, C.C. Sabathia for 7000 points, and locked him up for 4 years.
