I recently realized something. Since I use the classic controller for Wii and I'm left handed, that gives me an advantage because my stronger hand (thumb I suppose) is controlling the batting cursor when I'm batting and pitching cursor when I'm pitching. Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

For the amount of video games I've played I'd say both my thumbs are equally dextrous.

I'm about 70/30 right hand dominant (not quite ambidextrous, but my left hand/arm is far from useless). Having grown up in the arcade game era where the control stick was on the left and the fire buttons on the right, and then having those controls adapted to the console era, it actually feels weird *not* to play that way. I'd probably have less control if I controlled the batting cursor with my right hand :)

I don't think so.

Righty,

I've used a trackball mouse for most of my life (so my right thumb is quick and twitchy).

But, I agree, most consoles used motion on left and action on the right, so it's nothing new.

I'd rather have my right hand pulling the trigger on the bat anyways.

i have one of those mouses with the scroll wheel, so my middle finger is pretty twitchy.
But yeah, I've been playing video games since i was, like, 7, so I have some flexible fingers. I also play alto and soprano saxophone, so my fingers get a little workout.

Hm, I guess it's just me. Because when I tried playing with the Wiimote + nunchuck with the exact same settings, I played way worse.
