Ah, I was going to get to this today.

It WILL continue just like the Stranglers. The problem is, I am in a "creative block" right now and I just can't think up good dialouge. I have also had less time to play Power Pros, but yeah, this will continue.

I just have to write less sucky updates unlike that last one.

Stranglers Host Knights in Game 5 of Series

The pitching matchup today was McCartney vs Hiyama.

The Stranglers started off the scoring in the first when Chris Kennedy hit a solo home run. Hiyama struck out three straight after that, but the damage was done.

The Stranglers struck again in the third when John Lennon and Keith Richards hit back to back doubles making it 2-0. Hiyama was getting strikeouts, but could not stop the Stranglers from scoring runs. Pablo Sanchez hit a triple and Ringo Starr got him home with a suicide squeeze.

The best player in the NPB and a stand out who got out to a slow start, but picked it up late in this series. Masato Kurihara hit a solo home run to try and stop the bleeding. The score was 3-1. The Knights managed to load up the bases, but McCartney shut the Knights down in a very clutch way.

Ryan Techer came in for relief in the seventh and did well until Kennedy hit his second homer of the game, this time a three run shot.

McCartney finished the game with one run, 8 hits and fifteen strikeouts while Hiyama gave up 3 runs, 10 hits and 11 strikeouts when he came out.

Nice! How do you get so many strikeouts watching games? I do it all the time and Blackbeard only gets about 6 Ks.

Hiyama's a strikeout machine, that's how.

Too bad about the Knights losing, though............

Anyway, I've been home sick and I might be tomorrow so I'll come up with something for the final player update.

Brian: Ha ha! We won! We crushed them!

Paul: Yeah, thanks to my great pitching.

Chris: So now we can finally celebrate.

Pablo: No.

Chris: Why?

Pablo: I smell pepper.

Chris: Whatever. Where should we go?

Mick: I here there's a great burger joint downtown.

Everyone: Yeah, let's go.

Pablo: Wait for it...

Pepper: If you guys count celebrating as me closing a deal for a series next year, and you guys hanging out with the Knights, then yeah, go crazy.

Pablo: ... And there it is.

WildThing: Pepper, you never make us hang out with any other teams. Why the hell should we hang out with these guys?!

Pepper: Guys, it's just an exhibition series. You aren't fraternizing with enemy, you're trying to coax them to come back so we can skull drag them again.

Chris: Skull drag? We won in five games.

Pepper: Okay, so you can skull drag them for the first time. The point is, you have to get these guys to come back. They're really good. It's the best Japanese team vs the best American team.

Mark: If this is an exhibition game, then why did you makes us play it right after we won the World Series. Could you have let us rest a bit?! There are no stakes why did we play them.

Pepper: Okay, I'll tell you-

They all started walking to the hotel before Pepper could start yelling.

Azul: Well how are we going to entertain them now?

Chris: Yeah, it is going to be pretty awkward seeing them.

Mark: I don't think it can get much awkwarder than last time.

Jorkins: Awkarder is not a word, sir.

Mark: Well then make it a word.

Jorkins: I already have.

Mick: Anyway, what should we do? Scranton isn't very fun.

John: Well who says we have to stay in Scranton?

Azul: The Pepper did.

John: No, he didn't. Most of them are in America for the first time. We should go to New York.

Chris: Wait, remember when we were in New York having fun last time? John amd Rongo's agent got kidnapped as did Pablo as did Jack Merluzzi. Oh, and Azul's agent was kidnapped too.

Mark: Wait, when did this happen?!

Chris: Oh... You kind of weren't an All-Star that year. Hey subject change! How is your agent, Azul?

Azul: We haven't spoken in a while.

Chris: 'Nother subject change! Let's go pick them up!

They got to the hotel and went to the front desk to call them down.

Mick: Call the Knights down please.

Front desk: You mean the renaissance knights?

Mick: God, they're still here? Hey we could still go to that. Never mind. We want the baseball Knights.

The Knights came downstairs and, as expected, it was insanely awkward.

Brian: Don't worry. I came prepared for this. Hey guys, how much does a polar bear weigh?

Oda: Enough to break the ice.

Kura: That does not make this less awkward.

Brian: Well maybe a real polar bear does. Lady, get in hear!

A baby polar bear came walking in.

Kurihara: Brian! How the hell did you get that?!

Brian: Oh, my polar bear had kids.

Kanazawa: Why do you have a pet polar bear?!

Brian: Hey, even I get lonely at times. Sometimes my beard dosen't talk to me.

Hiyama: That is very weird.

George: Actually for Brian's standards, that is very normal.

Ringo: Anyway, we're taking you guys to New York.

Kura: Know you're not. Why would we want to hang out with you guys?

Azul: The pepper is making us hang out with you guys. He is meeting with your manager today to see if you guys can play us again next year.

Fikuchi: Hell no. If we're going to play again, you are coming to Japan.
