They would be going in with many years of frustration and disappointment. I wish them the best.

I really hope them or the Orioles win it all. It'd be a great Cinderella story. (Still haven't watched Moneyball yet, but it's on my agenda.

Plus I don't want to see the Nationals or Cardinals in there, or the Giants again, for that matter. I'd rather it be the Reds vs one of those two. I think it'd be a great World Series to watch.

I loathe Buck Showalter, so I'm rooting for the Athletics.

Athletics v. Nationals is what I'm hoping for.

Texas Rangers would be a nice story after coming so close the past 2 years. I don't think they've actually won a WS in franchise history yet.

Seriously though, the 5th or 6th highest paid team squeezing in by winning the weakest division in baseball? I have a feeling nobody outside of Michigan is going to be hoping for any Tigers wins.

Unless they're playing the Yankees.

I don't want the Cardinals, Yankees, Tigers, or Nats. I'd prefer Braves over A's or Rangers, but as long it isn't one of those four teams, I'm good.

Wouldn't it be weird if the A's and the Orioles actually WON their respective divisions? It could go down to a Game 163 with the Yankees and Orioles. That would mean if they both won their divisions, Yanks and Rangers for the Wild Card matchup! That's almost what I want to happen, since it would be so darn hilarious.
