Makes me think of one of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books where they go to the Valentine's dance and the teachers play Hokey Pokey for the music. And then they MAKE the kids go out there and dance.

Are you taking AP classes Skittles?

I have an AP class (my only B) and then three honors classes

What are your AP and honors classes? I can't get a GPA above 4.0 in 8th grade. (I know you're a freshman)

I couldn't get a GPA above 4.0 at my middle school either

And my AP class is Human Geography. My honors classes are English I, Biology (I could've taken AP here, but I decided not to) and Algebra II (11th grade math). But of course, it's different at every school

Way to go! Seriously, I am proud of you. Like the Bible says, "Blessed are the nerds: for they shall inherit the earth." It's the truth. Nerds (i.e. good students, hard workers) have the last laugh in life and it lasts a loooong time. Much longer than 4 years of being a jock or a bully or a skater or whatever passes for artificial cool these days.

That would be "swag"

But thanks I have a test in the AP class tomorrow, and I hope if I can somehow get an A, it'll boost my grade up enough

Our school doesn't have any over GPA as a freshman either. And Algebra II is Sophomore math at our school.

We don't have middle school GPAs...

Algebra II is freshman math for only SOME of us. Most are in geometry.

My school is a lot like Skittles'. In fact, my schedule freshman year looked almost exactly like Skittles'. Algebra II/Trig is our highest possible math for freshmen barring special cases. I think Algebra I is "regular" level, but almost half the kids are at least one year ahead (Geometry or AlgII/Trig).

Yeah, same here Zumi. Algebra I is the typical 9th grade math class, but probably about half the freshman are higher. I know two freshman who are in Pre-Calculus (12th grade math) already because they took Algebra II over the Summer. In fact, one of them is in Pre-Calc, Ap Human, and AP Bio. Not to mention that there are two 8th graders in my math class

Calc is when you get into all that cool, I mean swag, Sabermetric math. Just pretend like you are working in the front office of your favorite major league team and you guys should ace that class, no problem.
