The worst thing about marijuana is I've seen real smart kids with good futures get addicted to it, and then their grades plummet.

I hate when people claim, "It's not addictive." It is, just not physically (i.e. you won't get withdrawals, but you still crave it).

All that stuff is awful. I know for sure people in my high school are doing some of it.

It's so annoying that so many people go ahead and do it, as if they don't know the consequences. You might as well just give them cancer and call it a day.

Has D.A.R.E taught them nothing?

Do you guys have dress-up days for your homecoming? Like Monday was pajama day, Tuesday was blast from the past, Wednesday was Wacky Wednesday, tomorrow is TV/Movie character day, and Friday is school colors.

We only did stuff like that for Spirit Day in elementary school.

So nothing like that in high school?

Spirit Week? Yeah, we have that.
College Day, Neon Day, Something Else I Forgot, Big Top Day (Under the Big Top is this year's Homecoming theme), and School Colors Day

We had that last year, for something. I don't remember.

We had a Wacky Wednesday though

Nope, only for Spirit Week in elementary school. Not even middle-school either.

So it's just addictive in the same way virtually everything can be, depending on the person.

People can get addicted to video games, exercising, hell, I've known of people that were addicted to driving, just driving, no particular reason, they just wanted to drive anywhere and everywhere for no specific reason. And nobody seems to have any problem with those.

Let's see...

-I have school today
-There are definitely at least some people at my school who do drugs. Not sure about smoking or alcohol.
-We have something like that.
-Our homecoming theme this year is cereal...

At my brother's Christian High School, some people drink.

What difference does it make if it's a Christian school? There will be teenaged drinking no matter what.

Yeah... it's probably similar to that.

I'd think it's most likely more addicting, though. Any time you're using chemicals to alter your state of mind, it's probably not a good idea...

Don't get me wrong, I support the legalization/regulation of it (similar to alcohol), but I'd have to imagine you would need to be 18/21 to use it if that happened.

I'm not claiming to be all that informed on the subject anyway.

Last year one of the 8th grade dances was Hello Kitty-themed...

My GPA is currently a little bit over 4.2! Sweet!
