The scoring started in the 2nd,when Carlos Delgado led off the inning with a solo shot.Mark DeRosa would bring that run back in the Cubs half with a RBI-Single.
Carlos Zambrano led the Cubs half of the 3rd off with a single, and advanced to 3rd on a flyball by Alfonso Soriano.Ryan Theriot would reach 1st on a FC,1st and 2nd, 1 out,
Derek Lee would fix that,3-Run shot to CF,Brad Hawpe homered later in the inning.
In the top of the 5th,Brian Schneider would get a 2-Run double. 5-2 Cubs. After a bunt by the pitcher, the Cubs escape trouble by retiring Jose Reyes
In the 6th,Mark DeRosa pads the leaf with a RBI single, but gets out trying for a double. 6-3 Cubs
Carlos Zambrano singles,7-3, and guess who comes into pitch? Matt Wise. He retires the next 2 batters to end the inning.
The 1st pitch of the 7th is hit to Ryan Theriot, who lets it go right by. Runner on 1st,Can the Mets take advantage? Nope
Aramis Ramiez homers in the bottom half. 8-3 Cubs
Carlos Zambrano leaves the game in the 8th with elbow pain,7IP 3R,Mark Prior into pitch
The Mets would score once in the 9th,as Jose Reyes doubled in a run
Cubs WIN 8-4!!!
Win:Carlos Zambrano
Loss:Oliver Perez
HR:
Carlos Delgado
Aramis Ramiez
Derek Lee
Brad Hawpe

(Skipped boxscore, but we won and are going to the World Series,so who cares?)
(The A's lost the game today, but won tomorrow and beat the M's in 5 games,so the Cubs will play the A's in the World Series!)

Yeah I know I'm late, but I'll take Hawpe (if he wasn't already taken) but isn't he on the Rockies?

"We are here,finally." Frank said.
"Yep,it has been a long journey."Mark replied
"Do you have a free agent scout?(New Opening)"Frank asked.
"What is that?"Mark asked back
"Well,it is someone who recommends players to sign and maybe trades if they get enough trust."Franks stated.
"I will have to hire someone like that soon then." Mark said
If interested post here or PM me. You will basically give advice on players to get (I will do it at a time we both are on most likely)
