Dan Daniels, eh? I have a feeling he'll be a big part in the Knights log itself.

And sorry for my forgetfulness, but is this a 5-game or 7-game series?

Perceptive, dishy. You're correct.

And, it's a 5-game series, I believe.

It is five games.

Also, in my next update, there will be a cameo by moi. Just so you guys know and aren't all confused, my name is Jack Ramone. So, look out for my name in my update.

Player Update

Paul: Whooooo! Yeah! Whoooo! We're up 2-0!!! Woohoo!

Chris: We need to celebrate or something.

Brian: I have Twister.

John: I've got a better idea. Let's play extreme Clue!

Everyone seemed to love the idea.

Mark: What is extreme Clue?

Mick: Oh, that was before you joined the team.

Everyone giggled.

Mark: What is it.

Pablo: Well, you know, Clue. But, like, in real life. And to the extreme.

WildThing: Wharabou'a schrip 'lub.

Keith: What the hell did that man just say?

Reginald: Mark, get Jorkins to translate!

Mark: Oh, ummm... That isn't such a good idea.

Reg: Why the hell not?

Mark: Jorkins isn't feeling too well.

Reg: He's a freaking robot!

Mark: Shhhhhh! He might hear you! I could use Siri. Siri, what did WildThing just say.

Siri: Here are Wild restaurant things near you.

Mark: *sighs* It's just not the same.

Brian: Don't worry. I speak heard. He wants to go to a strip club.

Paul: We got kic-

Brian: Shut up! There is one left. It's called the Ben Franklin Memorial Sex Joint.

They all took a can there. Upon arrival, the owner saw the team, knew there record with strip clubs, loaded the place with dynamite, evacuated the are, and blew the place up.

Chris: So much for that idea.

They just decided to go to a Dave and Buster's down the street.

They walked in.

Chris: Now THIS is where it's at. Let's party!

They all went to the bar and played a drinking game. This is how it went:

They would prank call Pepper and put it on speaker phone. Any time he blamed Brian, they would drink, anytime he would hang up, they wouldn't drink.

Let's just say, Pepper blames Brian. A LOT.

They then went to try and pick up girls.

Chris: Yo guys! What do you call this move?

He did his signature two hand touch football touchdown dance.

Mick: I call that one, the Shawshanker!

Chris: Why?

Mick: Because that is the kind if dance you could get sent to prison for!

They all laughed. That was until a rich guy overheard them.

???: I couldn't help, but overhear...

Pablo: Actually, you could have helped. The music is glaringly loud.

???: Ignoring that...

Mark: Hey, you're the rich billionaire guy who invented the bionic arm. Jack Ramone.

Jack: The very same.

Mark: Hey, can you fix Jorkins, here?

Jack: You named your assistant, Jorkins?

Mark: He named himself actually...

Jack: That's weird... Oh, well, I will fix it. As long as your friend here names my signature dance move.

He started dancing... If you could call it that. It was more like moving to an insane rhythm while scarring the living hell out of everyone there at the same time.

Mick: I call that one, the Jack.

Jack: That isn't very creative.

Mick: It was true, though. You were Jacking it. You Jacked it for everyone here. You Jacked it on everyone here. Seriously man, you Jacked it so hard that it made everyone cry.

The guys all laughed very hard.

Jack: What are you all laughing at?! What does the term, "Jack it" mean?

Jorkins: According to urban dictionary...

30 seconds later.

Jack: Y-you, you, you, people, you! I am appalled! How could you? After I fixed Jorkins?! Really?! You can't diss Jack Ramone! It doesn't work like that! I diss people! You know why? I have money, dammit!!! Money!! So much so, that I could control every one of you! That's right, ALL OF YOU!!! Every single action!! And people would be laughing at you, and laughing with me! I could kill one of you off! Because I can control people with money!

People were staring

Jack: SNIVELY!!

Snively: Y-yes sir?

Jack: Let's go! Take me to the Ben Franklin Memorial Sex Joint! NOW!

Chris: Oh, that place kind of got blown half to hell.

Jack: Yeah, right.

He left.

Chris: That guy was almost as big a jerk as Albert Pujols.

Paul: By the way, we haven't seen him in a while.

Albert: Speak of the devil.

Chris: Oh, no Albert. You aren't the devil. I wouldn't call you that.

Albert: Thank you, Chris

Chris: It would be an insult to the devil.

Albert: Now listen here, loser!

Chris: Oh, yeah! I'm the loser. I won the MVP this year, not you.

Pujols: And you think that gives you power over me?

Chris: Yes, actually.

Pujols: Whatever. I heard a Japanese team came here and kicked your ass.

George: Nah, brah. We're up 2-0 in the series.

Ringo: Yeah. These guys kinda suck.

Brian: Hey, credit where credit is due... We are pretty awesome.

Everyone laughed. Except for Pujols of course.

WildThing: The Stranglers, rule the world!!

Mark: Hey guys, they are a great team. We were really close to losing last time.

John: I only look at the final score. Not the little details. Long live the Scranton Stranglers!

Mark: The Knights are a damn good ball club!

Pujols: Hey, you know the Cardinals-

Mick: John's right man! Scranton forever, Kyoto never!!!

Mark: The Knights are two time NPB champions!

Pujols: Hey, I won a championship in 2005 once-

Paul: The Stranglers survived athlete's foot, an arm that always fell off, a kidnapping, a drill Sargent manager and Jack mother *(censored)* Merluzzi!

Pujols: Speaking of those kidnappings.

Mark: Yeah you're right. We survived all that shit and they coukdn't survive a time rift. LONG LIVE THE SCRANTON STRANGLERS!!

Pujols: *whispering* And Albert is awesome, too! Oh my Gid, thanks you guys. You are too sweet. Really, stop flattering me.

Chris: Shut up and drink!!

30 minutes later.

Pepper: Oh, boy. Time to talk to Jack Allen.
He dialed Allen's number.
He got voice message: Oh, uh, you have reached Jack Allen. If you are hearing this I'm not here right now and am probably getting groceries, or working, or watching baseball, or on vacation, or in a different dimension.. You know what, there are a plethora of things I could be doing so just leave a message. Bye.

Pepper: Hey, Jack. Meet me at Dave and Buster's. We can discuss the DH and future series' between the two teams. Call me back.

Later on that night, he met up with Jack across the street.

Jack: Hmm. Look's like this place got burned down. I wonder what was here?

Pepper: My players, no doubt.

Jack: Huh?

Pepper: Oh, nothing. Let's go.

They walked across the street. There were twenty fire trucks and a blazing fire where Dave and Buster's used to be. In front of it all were the Stranglers, sleeping like angels, and Pujols sleeping like the devil (sorry for insulting you, Mr. Devil). But Kennedy was awake.

Chris: *very drunk* Haha. Hey Pepper and Jack! Pepper jack! Get it? Lol!

He collapsed

Jack: I guess we'll be meeting somewhere else, then.

Pepper: Sure one sec.

He ran in and saved forty people from the burning building. Don't ask how.

Jack and Pepper just went to Panpaka.

Jack: So... Since we will be the home team for the next two games, I guess we will use the DH.

Pepper: Yes, of course. Gosh, I hate the Designated hitter. So modern.

Jack: I don't think it is bad. It's a good rule.

Pepper: Nope! The game just isn't the same.

Jack: What do you mean? The DH has been there since I was born.

Pepper: So, I guess baseball got worse when you came into the world.

Jack: Hey!

Pepper: Sorry.

Jack: Look, if a pitcher comes up he is out!

Pepper: He can bunt!

Jack: It's so much less exciting!

Pepper: It isn't the same game!

Jack: Whatever.

Pepper: So... We are still on for more games in the future. Right?

Jack: Of course.

They shook hands.

Game 3... We're down 2-0. It's all or nothing in this one!

Scranton Stranglers (2-1) - 1
Kyoto Knights (1-2) - 3

It was a tough one, no doubt, but we came out on top by a final score of 3-1. We led the whole way through, mainly because of the offensive efforts by Kurihara, who went 2-3 with 2 homeruns. Both solo shots in the 2nd and 4th innings. To add on our third run, Kura added on with an RBI single in the 6th.

The Stranglers got their lone run on a Keith Richards homerun in the 7th.

Fujita went 8 1/3, pitching an absolute gem, saying afterwards "We needed this win. I'm glad I was able to provide for the team."

Kikuchi came in the get the final 2 outs and the save.

And THAT'S the way it should be.

So, sorry again for my forgetfulness, but I play game 5 if it gets there, right?

I don't remember anyone saying that. I think it was if a disaster happened and we needed you to back us up.

Insulting Pujols is a running gag in my log that I hadn't used in a while.

PPJ used to not like it either. His opinion might have changed, though... :P

Even if Pujols isn't on the Cards anymore, he's still a good guy and a great player.

Player Update

Chris: So. I guess we should go hang out with the Knights.

Paul: What makes you guess that?

Chris: Well, they're here. We should show them around town.

Mick: Yeah. We could drop them off at Henry's Lake and leave them there. Seriously. We played 162 baseball games including the playoffs and now this bullshit.

Lots of people agreed.

Sgt. Pepper: If you cowards think you're going to drop those boys off at Henry's Lake without spending the night yourselves, think again!

John: How in holy hell did you get in to my room?!

Pepper: I used the fire escape.

John: This is the eightieth floor!!

Sgt Pepper: Really? It looked like 79 to me. Oh, we'll. See ya around.

Mark: Hey, whoa, whoa, wait! What is so special about Henry's Lake.

Sgt. Pepper: I never thought you'd ask. I'll tell you.

Jorkins: I could just implant the story into his subconscious.

Pepper: LET ME HAVE THIS JORKINS!

George: Wait. It's that night isn't it?

Mark: What night?

Sgt. Pepper: It was a dark and stormy night,

Mick: Snore. How cliche is that?

Pepper: You didn't let me finish. It was a dark and stormy night before the tropical storm named "Rafael" came along. Rafael was a storm like no other, but that night, November 10th 1988, was a special night for Scranton High School. It was there annual fundraiser. Nothing would stop it from going on. So two kids, Henry Redford and Amanda Stewert were driving to the fundraiser party.
Now let's take a look back a few years. Twelve to be exact. It was the country's bicentennial. However, the mayor had recently been found dead. No evidence was left. No fingerprints. Nothing. All that they new was that the Mayor had been stabbed to death. A knife was in his chest with a confederate flag at the end of it. Everyone was sad, but the celebration had to go on. The nation's bicentennial was much more important than a mayor. That's what they thought. But whoever killed the mayor left nothing behind. And nothing was left behind at the next killing. This time it was the judge. He had been killed ironically by being hit in the head with a mallet. Written in blood outside the church was, "Happy 4th of July."
With the celebration a month away, people got scared. But the killings did not stop. This killer was creative. The leader of the teenage gang, "The Tigerz" was killed and found wrapped in an American flag. The final death was Garett Hartley, he was the leader of a famous band hailing from Scranton and he was hung from the flagpole in front of the police station.
Luckily, things died down. The police brought in a notorious criminal that was recently released from prison simply named El Perro.

Azul: His name translated into English is, "The Dog." That's hilarious.

Brian: Your name is Blue Grandmother.

Pepper: Aaaanyway, El Perro was brought in without a trial or investigation of any kind and the celebration went on. However, a smart, handsome, brave young man by the name of Pepper knew better. He investigated the crime and found things out, but it was too late. The Stewerts, a rich Scrantonite family were the next victims. The youngest daughter by the age of six was kidnapped right before the fireworks went off. The killer had Amanda strapped to a firework. But a young boy Amanda's age snuck up on him with a hammer. He struck and knocked down the killer. He got Amanda free and threw the firework at the killer. He was dead and the show went on.
The killer's body wasn't found. Only bits and piece and a few bones. Not enough to identify. However, there was a jumpsuit. The kind a custodian would wear. It had the name Rafael on it and a note with a half confederate half American flag attatfhed. The note was ver y eery. Saying only, "I'll be back."
Now after the longest flashback ever, here is what happened twenty years ago to the day. Henry and Amanda are now eighteen and in a relationship. Henry was driving through the rain, but looked terribly nervous. Amanda kept asking what was the matter, but he kept shrugging her off. Finally, he told her,
"Listen, Mandy, I've been getting dreams lately. Dreams about that summer. How everything went down. It's taking me tonight Mandy. Taking us, even. You and I should have died twelve years ago, but you can make it. Get out of the car."
Now like every dumb ass in distress would, she refused. But Henry couldn't take it. He tried to save Amanda. Maybe he did. But all we know is that Rafael took him. Once and for all.
I knew those two kids very well. I had grown to like them. I was out and about that night and word spread that there was a death. I fished the car out of the lake that night and, to my horror, Henry was dead. A confederate flag on one side of him, the stars and stripes on the other. I turned away. To my surprise, Amanda had made it out. She was soaking wet. I offered her a ride to the police station. I asked what happened. She didn't reply. She only got in the car. I drove down that dark road and started asking questions. She simply would not answer me. I turned away for a second. The next second, she was gone.
Now, you might say it was a dream. An illusion, but, the seat was wet. Soaking wet. Now, that was not enough to hold up a police report when they couldn't find the body. But it sure as hell is enough for me.

Each year on this night, all three of them are at the lake. Now named Henry's Lake. Rafael and Henry simply stare at each other. From opposite sides of the river. But Amanda walks down that road every year. Just like when I picked her up.

Jorkins: That was some heavy shit.

To Be Continued....

Note: Sorry for lack of a real update, but I needed to set up the story somehow. Granted I could have done it much quicker, but I thought this was a fun little update.
