Yeah, the pitching (especially with the roster I've given you) is pretty horrid.

But, everyone can hit for a high average, we've got some good power, and a lot of speed.

Yeah the pitching is not very good. Especially Shima. PPFan knows what I'm talking about there.

The fielders, though. Pretty damn good.

As you might expect from a game where both teams started their ace pitchers, this game was a pitcher's duel, through and through. The Successes were able to take the 1-0 lead in the first inning, when Angel singled and a groundout by G.White moved him to second right before Gaia drove him in with a key single. As it turned out, that would be the only run of the game, as the Successes won 1-0, Willy Legend pitched 8.1 shutout innings before handing the ball to Zero Gibson for the save.

This game was also somewhat of a pitcher's duel, just like last game, the deciding run came in the first inning, as Endou drove in a run with an RBI single to make it 1-0 Inazuma. Endou would drive in another couple runs with a single in the 6th to make it 3-0. They would later pile on in the 9th inning, scoring 3 more runs off of a Midorikawa single, a passed ball, and a Kazemaru single, making it 6-0, which would be the final.

The previous 2 games of the day were decided by first inning runs, and so was this one. Charmander drove in a run with a single to make it 1-0 and Pikachu did as well, to make it 2-0 in the first inning. In the third inning, they would score 3 more runs making it 5-0 as Pikachu drove in 1 with a double and Bulbasaur followed by driving in 2 with a single. This was more than enough thanks to a great pitching effort by Gary, who struck out every Melonheads starter.

Okay, I'm not going to lie, that was an absolute ordeal to do, and for just 1 day, that took me about an hour. I'm almost definitely going to be changing the format from here to remove the summaries or the box scores. I'm holding a poll on which one people would rather keep in the game.

I'm voting to keep box scores, for the following reasons. Box scores would be a lot better to see how players are doing in general, with game summaries, you pretty much would only know who is driving in runs, not who hits for a good average, scores the runs, or how the pitchers are doing. Also, with box scores, I'll be able to enjoy myself when watching the games. There's no option to pause when doing a fast-game on here, so whenever something happens, I have to try to frantically type it out and hope not much else happens in the time it takes me to write it.

I'll be doing some kind of update every 5 days (in game), I'm not entirely sure about what it will contain, but it'll probably give the standings, some league leaders, maybe some other stuff, I don't know.

Also, like I said, message me if you want something about the format changed, even if it's just a little thing, particularly with the box scores, since I'll probably keep those.

There's the poll. I voted box scores, if you voted for summaries, please explain why. I prefer box scores a lot and it'd probably take a really uneven vote in favor of game summaries for me to keep that part instead.

I would rather keep the box scores as well. It's also an excuse not to read.

The box scores seem like they would be much less stressful for you so you should go for them. And it still provides a good summary.

Are you simulating the games or playing them?

Wow... the Melonheads' hitting has been awful so far. Do you think it needs to be adjusted?

If you've ever played league mode, there's no option to do anything but fast games unless you have another person to play against, so these are all through fast game. I wouldn't mind doing game summaries as much if there was a way to pause fast game.


Of course, if there is a way to play games normally in league mode, then I haven't figured it out and look like an idiot right now.




Well, it's just a couple games, sometimes even the best teams hit a horrible streak in simulations, last league I did a team dominated the first 10 games then fell apart in the last 5 to finish in third place.

What do you mean by adjusting it? You mean changing the batting order or anything? Because I don't really mess around with anything like that when I do leagues. I setup the teams to be as good as I thought they could be (unless someone specified how they wanted it set up) and then I leave them and see what happens.

I believe there is, but I'm not totally sure as I hardly ever do league play. And if I am wrong, then I look like the idiot
