Since this is the "new" random musings thread, I had a funny moment in summer baseball this year. Half of our dugout got into an animated discussion of how Power Pros was the best Wii game ever, maybe the best baseball game ever. Made me smile to know that its not just us here that love this game. I think I'm gonna pull out my PS2 and fire up 2008 when I get back from vacation, just for the nostalgia.

I wanna do an NHL 11 my player log... I need some tips on how to play my position well, I like playing as a winger. If anyone has played the game can they give me some tips?

What do you need help with? Don't the blue arrows show you where the game wants you to be?

Wingers are usually the first ones in on offense and the last on defense. They have the biggest responsibilities to put pressure on the forecheck but the AI teammates in that game are too stupid to realize they're supposed to help with that so it's nearly impossible to make that work. The wingers have very little defensive responsibility and they usually guard the other team's defenseman so they're up the ice enough to get a quick breakout on the counterattack.
