And I'm his agent. Score!

Robin spends the rest of the night in a sugar hype. Patrick doesn't get any sleep for multiple reasons.

Big Announcement! I'm brining the Eagles to YouTube! After seeing powerprosfan31's YouTube videos I thought I'd try it out. I have a couple games that are waiting to be recorded so after I record those games I'll post videos!

Eagles Bounce Back Against Mariners
4-12-35
Franky Martinez

Las Vegas Eagles - 10
Seattle Mariners - 4

The Eagles had just been swept by their rival, the Hawaii Whales, and we're looking to bounce back in any way possible. Today they had Ando Masahashi, the lone victim in the Eagles rotation that didn't face the Whales, looked to get it going against Jared Washburn.

In the bottom of the second Willie the Kid blooped a two run RBI single giving the Eagles an early two run advantage. Gordon Freeman would add onto the lead with an RBI single in the third, extending the Eagles lead to three. The bottom of the fifth highlighted David So, as he knocked in an RBI single as well to give the Eagles a four to nothing lead.

The Mariners looked to climb back when, in the top of the sixth, Richie Sexson blasted a two run double into the deep left center field gap to reduce the deficit to two runs.

The Eagles wasted no time getting the runs back and then some. The bottom of the sixth started off with a Nakamura lead off triple into the left center gap. Two place hitter KiD CuDi then blasted an opposite field homer, getting the two runs back and making it a six to two lead. But the Eagles were far from done. Troy So and Dan Martia would hit consecutive doubles to make it a seven to two lead. Raymond Smith then hit an RBI single, driving in Martia. After a Freeman single, Kanye West would hit into a double play to end the four run inning.

In the top of the eighth inning, Adrian Beltre would blast a two run double, almost identical to Sexson's, but that would be all for the Mariners. The Eagles would tack on two more, then hang on to give the Eagles a ten to two victory.

Eagles get King Felix'ed
4-13-35
Franky Martinez

Las Vegas Eagles - 2
Seattle Mariners - 4

Yesterday the Eagles and the Mariners were throwing out two brothers. The Eagles had Larry Bernandez going out for them and the Mariners had Felix Hernandez.

The Eagles got to King Felix early, tacking on two runs in the bottom of the third inning via a Troy So double and a Raymond Smith to give the Eagles a two to nothing lead. From there it went all downhill. Inning after inning, King Felix put up zeros for the Eagles and they couldn't get anything going. The was one Larry would like to put away for a long time. The inning started off with Jose Vidro and Kenji Johjima singles. Rafael Betancourt would line an RBI single to reduce the lead to one. Willie Bloomquist hit a single to load the bases for Ichiro, who blasted a bases clearing double into the right field gap and give the Mariners a two run lead.

From that point on it was all King Felix. He made short work of the Eagles inning after inning. They would gather together a couple of hits but never got the clutch hit they needed to get themselves back into the ballgame. Felix would pitch all the way into the ninth, where he would finish the game himself a complete game victory.

Eagles Take Series on Walk-Off
4-14-35
Franky Martinez

Las Vegas Eagles - 2
Seattle Mariners -1

Yesterday the Eagles took a series from the Mariners, a sigh of relief after being swept. The game would prove to be a low scoring affair. The Eagles were able to get a run up early. Gordon Freeman started the second inning off with a double. The next batter, Patrick Gainer, hit a laser to second baseman Jose Lopez who instead of throwing it to first went to third to try and get Freeman out. Freeman was safe on the play, but he was hurt. Freeman would be replaced by Hiro Nakamura who was supposed to get a day off. The next batter, Kanye West, would hit a sacrifice fly to give the Eagles a one to nothing lead. Nakamura would stay in to play shortstop, a position he had never played at any level.

From then on it was all Boo. He got short, easy innings from the Mariners aggressive lineup. In the top of the eight inning he ran into some drouble when the Mariners had first and third and one out with Ichiro up, threatening to take the lead. Closer Kenny Powers was brought in and was able to get a double play to end the inning.

It wasn't so easy for Powers in the ninth. After a Raul Ibanez single, Adrian Beltre blasted a ball to deep left that would tie the game and give Beltre an RBI double, tying the game up at one. After Powers ended the inning, he threw he glove and screamed in the dugout.

In the bottom of the ninth Hiro Nakamura lead off the inning with a single. He stole second base, setting the table for Gainer who hit a walk-off RBI single into the right center gap, securing an Eagles victory.

Gainer Traded, Saito Aqquired
4-14-35
Jeff Kawakami

News just broke to us that Patrick Gainer, catcher of the Las Vegas Eagles, and cash has been sent to the Los Angeles Dodgers for closer Takashi Saito. This is a win-win trade for both sides as it appears. The Dodgers will have a back-up for Russell Martin as well as for first baseman James Loney. With Gainer's ability, he could start at either of these positions as well. It gives the Dodgers depth and the ability to trade at the deadline. The Eagles are able to recieve much needed bullpen help. They have good relievers, but they wouldn't be able to go deep into a game with the current roster.

With this trade, pitcher Pablo Sanchez is being sent down to Triple A.

Why would he be sent down? Wasn't it a one for one trade?

Are you saying it's wrong to talk to a bag of Skittles? Because if so, I'm going to need to rethink a lot of things. :P
