I would think so. Those things happen sometimes.

Yep, that's exactly what it means.

The game automatically gives the MVP to the one who drove in the winning run, no matter how well others did.

Isn't the MVP of the game given the same way? If chipper jones went 5-5 but... Greg Norton got a walk off sac fly he would get the interview and stuff. Or at least ai think that's how it is.

Sakutarou Makida, 2.45 [1.07], 33 IP [25 1/3], 24 K [22], 1-3 (21) [0-1 (22)]

Not bad, not bad at all.

Kurihara and Kanazawa both went down in production, but, ultimately, everyone else picked them up. Fukuchi had a surprisingly good season, knocking in almost 40 more than last year. He really was a big factor to the team.

Yeah, but that only applies with a walkoff.

In Japan, the team that comes in first in the league gets to skip the first round of the playoffs, and begin the second with a game advantage over the other team.

Kinda unfair.

But, eh.

October 6 was the first game.

6. 3 from each league.

I think it's the same even with the 2 arrange teams added.

Six teams makes it to the playoffs.

Oh, ok. So it's kinda like a mix between baseballs and footballs playoffs?
