Mark Prior decided to walk to the stadium today. As he was walking, a man approached him.

Man: Hey, Mark. Why don't you come with me.

Mark: Yeah? Why should I?

The man pulled out a badge. He was a cop.

Mark: I swear I did nothing wrong.

Cop: This isn't about what you did wrong. This is about what you did right.

Mark: What did I do?

Cop: First I'll introduce myself. I'm police commissioner Dan Duffy. I'll skip right to the point. We saw what happened against the Brewers. We were amazed. What great citizenship you showed. Your arm was great. We want you to do what we can't. Reach the out of reach places with your amazing arm.

Mark: Uh, what?

Dan: Your arm can scan areas, retrieve data, check ID, speed you up, infiltrate places, make you stronger, extend up to fifty feet. That's just to name a few.

Prior: Yeah, I know that, but my arm is to get me back in pitching shape and keep it from falling off. That's all.

Dan: But it can be so much more. Please you'd be doing the city a great favor.

Prior: Alright. What do you want me to do?

Dan: Perfect...

TO BE CONTINUED...

As his agent, I was not aware of this, but I'll let you proceed with the arc anyway.

Keith Richards is one of the best power hitters on the team and should be moved up in the lineup. WildThing would be a great starter with more stamina, but would make a great closer too.

Yeah I could probably build up his stamina... If you didn't set his age to 40.

Dan Duffy: Okay. We have some suspects in a drug case, but they've done a good job by covering up. We need you to go to the warehouse downtown and take them in. You'll need a badge and remember to read them their rights.

Mark: What rights?

A robotic like englishman's voice spoke up: May I be of assistance, sirs?

Mark: What the hell was that?!

Duffy: I don't know! It's your bionic arm!

Voice: I'm a program that installed itself into your bionic arm as I knew you would need help. Call me Jorkins.

Mark: Jorkins? What kind of name is that?

Dan: The kind a computer gives itself.

Jorkins: Anyway, I do know what to do. So, I suggest we get going.

Mark: Okay. Atomic batteries to power. Turbines to speed.

Jorkins: Roger, ready to power up.

Mark: Wonderful. To the warehouse.

Mark felt an electric charge from his arm go through his body and immediatley he sped up. It wasn't long when they got to the warehouse.

Mark: Man, the windows are up so high. That's at least 20 ft. How am I supposed to get up there?

Jorkins: Well there are two ways. You could extend your arm that twenty feet and climb up or you could push off the ground with your super bionic strength and jump up to the windows.

Mark: Oh. Okay. I knew that.

He jumped up to the windows.

He saw four men talking.

Mark: How am I supposed to know what they're up to? They could be doing anything. I can't hear them.

Jorkins: I can. I am transferring the dialouge to the screen on your arm, sir.

Mark: But that still doesn't prove they're exchanging drugs.

Jorkins: Way ahead of you, sir. I am retrieving their identities and taking photos.

The four men were named Willy Walker, Joe Smith, Harry Lewis and Frank Turnbow.

Willy: Look we're going to get a lot of money once we traffick these drugs into Asia. We'll split it fairly four ways once we started getting the cash.

They all nodded. Mark saw a picture on the screen of cocaine ready to be trafficked.

Mark: That's all I need to know.

He extended his arm so he could grab the four men.

Mark: Okay guys, you're under arrest. Jorkins, read them their rights.

Jorkins: Very well, sir. You have the right to remain silent; Anything you say can be used against you; you have the right to have an attorney present before and after the questioning and if you can't affored an attorney, you can have a state chosen attorney to represent you.

Mark: Let's take them back.

BACK AT THE POLICE STATION

Dan: Thanks, Mark.

Mark: Don't mention it. I kind of liked it.

Dan: So can you join us?

Mark: I don't know. My contract might not allow me.

Dan: You could have a secret identity. And wear this mask.

Mark put on a wrestler's mask designed as a baseball.

Mark: Okay, from now on, call me Bionic Bro.

Mark raced to the stadium and got there a bit late.

Pepper: Where have you been?! You're late! Just for that, you're starting today!

Mark: But I haven't warmed up yet.

Pepper: Not my problem.

The Stranglers finished off the season yesterday against the Mets with a win. The Stranglers went 112-50 this season blowing every team in the NL out of the water.

Paul McCartney won he pitching triple crown with a 17-5 record, a 2.52 ERA, and 240 strikeouts and is the clear choice for the NL Cy Young award. Brian Wilson lead the league in saves with 45.

The Stranglers play the Dodgers in the first round of the MLB Playoffs.

Stranglers Take Game One of Series; Win 11-2

The members of the media all got a weird sort of amnesia after the game and can't remember how either team scored so not much to write about here...

WP:Charlie Brown
LP:Brad Penny

Sorry about that, I didn't write down the scoring summary and all that stuff.

Stranglers Get Shut Out in Game 2; Lose 1-0

The pitching matchup today was a shaky Azul Abuela versus a solid Jason Schmidt.

Azul Abuela was pitching very well. His offense just refused to score runs for him. His defense wasn't much better. With bad judgment in the field, Andrew Jones hit a triple. Juan Pierre got a cheap hit to drive Jones in. Schmidt shut the Stranglers down and that was it.

WP: Jason Schmidt
LP: Azul Abuela

Stranglers Come Back With 2-1 Victory

Today's pitching matchup was Paul McCartney vs Don Billingsley.

The Dodgers jumped out to an early lead today in the first inning. Newly acquired Kevin Youkillis hit a home run off of Paul McCartney making it 1-0 in the first inning.

It took until the sixth inning for the Stranglers to tie it up. Paul McCartney helped his own cause by singling up the middle. Sanchez and Starr both struck out making things look bleak. Until Kennedy followed with a single of his own. Ryan Howard singled to left field, but it looked like McCartney would have to hold at third until he ran through the stop sign and was just safe!

The game was at a stalemate and went into extra innings. In the eleventh inning, Mick Jagger led off with a double. This set up John Lennon to hit a walk off single making it 2-1 Scranton.

WP: WildThing
LP: Joe Beimel
MVP: John Lennon
