As I woke up in my office, after falling asleep on my desk, I pondered on the thought of us having an alternate uniform we could wear on weekends.
I called up our uniform guy, and we came up with this: Image

15:33

The players started coming in, and I was eager to show them the new uniforms, so I called a meeting.
I pulled out the old projector, brought up the slide with the new uniforms, and...
"Gentlemen, may I introduce you to the new White Knight Uniforms!"
They looked like they liked it.
Well, hopefully they like it, since they'll be wearing it on weekends.

I will never be satisfied until you use the pitchers I made in this log.

However, those are some really cool uniforms. :)

What's this? A player update...? That... doesn't... happen... Image

May 29, 2016

Kura and Oda went out to grab some lunch, as they do pretty much every Sunday.
Where were they heading? Why, they were going to Uosue in Kyoto, where else?

As they were walking, Kura thought of something.

Kura: Dude, I bet I can pick up a girl at the restaurant, no problem.
Oda: Yeah right, man. The ladies come down to the park to see me, you know that.
Kura: Oh, pshaw. Yeah, okay, sure. What were they doing there the year before you were on the team, hm?
Oda: Some second rate shortstop. Heh.
Kura: Hahaha, sure. That's cute. Oda, you know that you're running second banana to me, man.
Oda: Alright, fine. If it's a bet you want, it's a bet you'll get.
Kura: Sweet. Last one to get a number has to shave their head, you dig?
Oda: Hell yes.

They shook, and walked into the restaurant.
They sat down.

Waitress: Ohmigod, you two... No, it can't be... You two are on the Knights aren't you?!
Kura: But of course, my lady.
Oda: We sure are!
Waitress: I must be the luckiest person alive! I get to see the great Oda! Oh, and Kura too.

Oda gave an evil smirk to Kura.

Kura: Oh.
Waitress: Well, um, can I, like, get your order?
Kura: I'll have a nijū bentō.
Oda: And I'll have the same.
Waitress: Okie dokie, I'll be right back.

She left.

Oda: Hahahah, I've got this one in the bag, dude.
Kura: Yeah right, let me just turn on the Kura swag.
Oda: Psh, that's got nothing on me. And, plus, dude, she's already looking my way. You've got no chance.
Kura: Whatever man, just you watch.

She came back with their nijū bentō.

Waitress: Here you go Oda! And for you too, Kura.
Oda: Thank you!
Kura: Yeah, thanks.

She left once again.

Oda: Well, you may as well quit now, I've won.
Kura: I never quit.
Oda: Fine, fine, I wonder what you'll look like without hair...
Kura: Shuddup, it's time to eat.

They ate, and she came back to the table with the check.
She handed it to Oda, her number written on the back.
Oda gave a huge smile, in part because he had gotten her number, but mostly because he could keep his hair.

Kura paid, and they left.

Oda: Might as well get this over with now, eh?
Kura: *sigh* fine.

They walked down to the barber, and Kura got his head shaved.

He looked... different, to say the least.

Oda: Hahahaha, dude, fresh cut.
Kura: Shuddup man, at least I stuck to my word.
Oda: Fine, fine. But still, you look hilarious!
Kura: Hardyharhar, I know I do. Now, let's just get back to the locker room.
Oda: Okay, hahahaha.

They walked back, Oda laughing all the way there, and Kura, well, he was looking seriously depressed.
Kura seemed to love his hair more than anything.
Poor dude.

How exactly did you do that? Do the changes you make in Arrange Mode transfer over to Season Mode or something? Or can you edit Arrange teams in Season Mode? I don't think I've ever seen that option for the second question.

A Player Update, eh? Looks like you'll be paying up my $135.00 tax along with Agent, and Test. I really wanted Kura to win right there. He has, like you once said to me, the ultimate swag swag. I might have to shave his head in my game now... :(

When you have a created team, with a unique uniform, if you go to the third option, then the fifth, and then the fourth on the left column, you'll be able to do this. It's pretty sweet that you can!

It's safe to say that I "borrowed" your idea

Kura's swag swag didn't work today, unfortunately. And for the hair, probably not, hopefully it'll grow back in time!
(hint: it will)

It seems familiar to me. I might have already figured this out, I just have no memory of doing so. Sadly, I don't have the PS3 with me to verify this.

When you get the chance, try it out. I hope that my instructions were correct.

Fukuchi Shines!

Image
Image – Fujii and Fukuchi

Blue Stadium, Sakyō-ku, Kyoto – The young third baseman of the Knights, Daisuke Fukuchi, who is still working on coming out of his shell, really shined in yesterday’s game! Going 3-4 with a single, two homeruns, and 5 RBI! “I exclusively batted from the left side today, and left-handed is my stronger side, so I think that that may have helped.” He said after the game.

The whole Knights offense (save for Shimozono) produced something towards the win in last night’s game.

With this win, the Knights increase to 30 games over .500!

Though it probably won't effect us much, the Carp have signed the oufielder/catcher, Hideki Asao. He'll surely help their struggling offense. The homerun leader on their team has a meager 7 homeruns.

Hideki Asao - OF
AGE, 2ND POSTION, B/T, TRJ, CON, POW, RUN, ARM, FLD, E RES

Also, when you do the statistical updates, could you do the ages of the players, too? I'm just curious, that's all.

No problem!

I'll be doing them at the all-star break, and then at the end of the year as well!

Makida…

Image
Image – Seiichi Uchikawa

Blue Stadium, Sakyō-ku, Kyoto – Well. The Knights lost this one.

“It… It was all my fault we lost.” Makida said after the game. Though, in truth, it isn’t all his fault. He may have blown the lead and given them the lead in turn, but, the Knights had plenty of opportunities to make some damage and increase their lead, but they could never capitalize. Such was the case in the 3rd inning, where the Knights had bases loaded, and two out. Shimozono was up, and he cracked his bat, frounding out to first to end the inning and the threat.

The Hawks scored all of their runs in the last 4 innings of the game, one in the 7th, thanks to an RBI double by Tamura to end Hiyama’s bid for a shutout, one in the 9th, to erase the Knights’ lead, and give Makida a blown save, and the last one in the 10th, the game winning run, an RBI double by Uchikawa.
