Hi, I own MLBPP '07. To influence my purchase of MLBPP '08, I was curious if the following had been addressed/looked at/enhanced (etc):

1) Logo's

They sucked last year. Making your team with these lame logo's of kitty cats and other bizarre manga-esque concepts...doesn't fly for me. I mean, if THAT's what your gonna put into the game, PLEASE put in just simple, stylized letters. That way if I want to be the 'Cyclones" I can have a stylized "C" on my jersey/ballhat/logo. No silly kid pictures.

Actually, NO sports game gets this right. NHL 2K-whatever has pretty crappy logo's to boot. We're not allowed to import anything, but gosh, a simple 'paint' app would work...

The jersey creation itself was cool tho. Haven't seen the likes of that since Front Page Football '93. Hope that stayed.

2) League Mode Simulation

For the life of me, I could NOT figure out the following in MLBPP '07: my brother and I create our own teams. Then, we wanted to create a League with 4 other AI teams. THEN, we only want to physically play the games where it's his team versus mine, simulating ALL OTHER GAMES where it's one of our teams versus the CPU.

We couldn't figure this one out so we had to drop the AI teams. Was it possible that we could have done this in '07? Is it at all possible in MLBPP '08?

Those were the 2 biggies for me last year. Hope the at least got a look at this year. Can anyone tell me if they are different as compared to '07? Not much point shelling out another $40 if they are the same as last.

i think the have more logos, an they also included flag logos.

You can simulate League games just like in season mode by advancing the schedule using the timetable and scrolling into the future. This feature is in both 2007 and 2008.
