Medic: DRIVE MAN DRIVE!

Rev Davis had just been shot. Every major news station had flown in to report it. Within a matter of minutes, everybody in the United States knew who Rev Davis was. You didn't even have to be a sports fan. Just the fact that this was a major event, Opening Day and the first MLB game for two new teams, got it major publicity. Everybody knew he'd been shot. But nobody knew if he'd survive.

Dan: Everybody get out of here! It's not safe!

Willie the Kid: Guards! Contact the police! Tell them to lock down the city!

Kenny: No one gets in and no one gets out!

Within a matter of seconds, the city was under lock down. There were barricades in every place possible, ensuring nobody got in or out.

Chief of Police: I want every place a human being could be searched! I want to find this assassin!

While the police locked the city down, the whole team got in their cars and were escorted to the hospital by several police cars. All the Eagles were in panic mode. They wouldn't know if their founder would be able get to see their first game. They wouldn't know if he was going to be able to see his team flourish. They wouldn't know if this was going to be the last time they saw him.

Dan, who was riding with Gainer, Robin, and Lopez, felt it was his duty to inform the news to his wife Emma who was in California for her cousin's 18th birthday celebration.

Emma: Hello?

Dan: Hey Emma. My name is Dan Martia. I am one of the players for the Las Vegas Eagles, your husband's team.

Emma: Hi Dan, what can I do for you?

Dan: This is going to be hard to take in. I'd step outside if I were you.

Emma: Can't be that bad. You guys lose your first game?

Dan: No it is far worse. Rev has been shot.

Emma: *silence*

Dan: We have contacted the Army in California. They are going to bring a helicopter to your location. It will be there in a matter of minutes. I wish you the best of luck.

*beep*

Dan: That was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.

By the time Dan was done talking to Emma, the entire team had arrived at the hospital. All the players sprinted into the hospital, when they parked.

Lupe: Where's Rev!?!?!?

Secretary: He's in the operating room. I'm sorry but you fellas cannot go up there at the time. You'll just have to wait it out until the surgery is complete.

Kanye: Man that's some bull****!

Secretary: You are all welcome to stay in the cafeteria. Free food will be provided for you guys.

Robin: At least there is free food!

Gainer punches Robin.

All: ROBIN!!!

Robin: Sorry...

All the Eagles stayed in the cafeteria for about five hours when Emma burst in the room, tears covering her face.

Emma: Where's Rev!?!?!

Boo: He in operate room. No go there.

Emma: Ugh! The tension is killing me.

Emma cried for about another hour when a surgeon came into the room.

Julio: Well what happened!?!?!

Surgeon: He is ....

I'll take Dan Martia, and it reminds him of when his parents died. So much stress...
