I've had issues like that, but only during the offseason. Once April rolled around, they all shot up to 5 stars

I think it's pretty hard. I don't know, I always make sure my trades have 3 or more stars. No S/Ling.

You have to S/L for a 1 star.

Okay, AgentP. You are upset with these new kids for making useless posts. Weren't you new at some point? Didn't it take you a while to learn the ropes? Yeah, it is ludicrous that AnthonyP has 1200+ posts in his short time here, but he is still a nice member of the forum. Maybe some people like getting replies to some of their topics that nobody replies to. I like having people tell me "Good job on that guy! Could you post the password in case I would want to use him?" Then its up to that person to decide whether or not he wants to post the password, even if he thinks it will never get used. And you want to talk pointless? Then explain to me the point of you having 2 profiles, and posting with both? Eh?

Well, I am at the date of the first game of the season and things are still 1 star on most players. I guess I'll try again after the first game, maybe that's when the switchover happens. Failing that, I'll try after the first week and first month.

I know having too much depth shouldn't be a bad thing, but I really want to cut some salary so I can get more training equipment to improve my main players.

Please don't escalate this further...

This trade system is really messed up. I'm a couple weeks into the system and getting many of the same problems.

However, on one of the players I look at, if I put all my points, it's 2 stars, but if I include a player with the points, it's 1 star. So they would rather just give up a player instead of getting a player back to replace him? As far as trading goes, this is one of the worst GM modes I've ever played, no logic whatsoever to the trading in this game on any level.

Yeah, that doesn't make much sense.

AgentP/MattRoth: You asked if there is any disscussion about Power Pros anore besides season logs/success players, my answer is, for the most part, no of course there isn't! We're still making a few little discoveries now and then, but it is mostly season logs and success PP wise. Isn't it obvious why though? THERE HASN'T BEEN AN AMERICAN GAME RELEASED IN ABOUT FOUR YEARS! It's the kind of whining like we don't talk about Power Pros anymore irks me a lot! Listen, guys. Bottomline, the reason for us coming here is for love of the great game Konami and 2K put out for us in 2007 and 2008 the reason for staying here is the bonds we've made with each other over the internet. We have good season logs and good people on here. The odds are against us getting this great game back stateside, but it's still nice to have dreams and people to dream with. So tell me guys, does it really matter what we talk about as long as we're having fun and enjoying ourselves on this great website?

Finally, Paul, you, my friend, are correct. As long as we're enjoying ourselves here, we don't need to be talking about Power Pros. Though, I'll always keep you guys up to sped with the Japanese releases (along with Zumi and goodways)!


This is one of the main reasons I've stopped playing Power Pros, the computer's so stupid, it's comical.

I've went around the league and it seems this isn't just going on in one case. Every GM I have attempted trade negotiations with has failed at basic preschool logic.

It's like if I offered someone $200000 for a simple house and they would agree, but I change my mind and offer them $200000 and 3 other houses more valuable all-around than the one I'm getting back and they reject the offer immediately.
