I'm kinda conflicted on this. When people are actually talking and whatnot, this board is really fun because we can talk about anything we want and build great conversations and debates (i.e. the Cain discussion). But sometimes you'll come check and see multiple new pages, but then realize that it was just two or three people typing only numbers back and worth, and it makes you question why the topic was made in the first place.

Yes, the purpose of the FORUM is about the game, but this BOARD is about basically anything and everything. Also, there's not much about the game anymore. It's mostly just season logs and fun little topics that keep this place alive. Big topics like SimYard died a while ago, and other little things like 1-player games seem to be dying out now. After being out for almost four years, we've practically sucked out all the information that we could from the game. (Also, little side note/rant. Why is it we know so much about the games, yet the wiki has tons pages with little to no information, particularly 07?

3 things:
1. If we continue this topic past 10,000, what was the point of making it "Counting to Ten Thousand" in the first place? If we wanted it to go on forever, why did we even change it from One Million?
2. Why would we want to start over from 1? We tediously worked to reach our "goal", received nothing for it, and now we want to do it again?
3. Even if a meaningful comment rule was instituted, isn't that what Forum Member Updates is for? All the numbers do is cause extra work for someone that wants to participate in the conversation.

Eh, it's just a distraction.
It truthfully means nothing, this thread.
But, we're all collectively working together to get to one eventual goal, and that is to reach 10,000.

And despite that, I've cast my vote to see how far we'll get, just because I'm curious.

This is a fun, meaningless, distraction, it's best if it's taken as such.
