You can be his agent if something happens to Morgan, and his abilities are right here

EDIT: I decided I would make my own Stanton because Timely Whiff on four players is too much to handle. His abilities are below:

TRJ: 3
CON: 5
POW: 209
SPD: 11
ARM: 13
FLD: 5
RES: 6

Clutch Hit 4
Power Hitter
Hot Hitter
Gd IF Hitter
Intimidator
Durability 4
Running 4
Cannon Arm
Gd Morale

I might, the only problem is that he's worthless!

Washington Nationals (26-40) @ Pittsburgh Pirates (29-37)
June 11, 2008

Pirates Crush League Worst Nats

Two of the worst teams in the NL combined to score nineteen runs today in Pittsburgh. Washington scored two in the first before Bay threw a laser to home to get the runner and end the inning. Bay hit a homer in the first, and then the Pirates exploded in the second. The Pirates strung together some hits, capped off by an Olivo home run to score five. A scary incident occurred in the third, as Bay injured his arm diving into third for a triple and was taken out of the game. From that point on, it was just a slug fest by both teams. Despite only four homeruns between the two teams, there were a whopping fourteen doubles and two triples!

Final Score
Nationals: 6
Pirates: 13

W: Snell (4-4)
SV: Fussell (1) ???
L: Hill (4-7)
HR: Bay (7), Nady (9), Olivo (7), Johnson (16)

Save = last 3 innings. Seems like I'm the only one that knows of this rule.

Duffy is glad that he got some hits, but sad (maybe) about Bay's injury.

Ah yes, and Price = lefty. May want to update the draft article so you can wonder what I'm talking about.

I knew of the 3 inning rule. It gets discussed every few months when somebody has that question.

Ok then, the only rules I knew of were the three runs or closer one, and if you come in with the tying run on the field. And I really don't care what handedness he is, I don't feel like editing another post.

I also know of the save rule now. That doesn't make it less absurd.

Pittsburgh Pirates (31-37) @ Baltimore Orioles (32-35)
June 13, 2008

Pirates Pound Orioles

The bats stayed alive Friday night as the Pirates slaughtered the Orioles. Up until the ninth, the Pirates had a sizable lead, 8-3. But then they went crazy, hitting bombs like there was no tomorrow. Nady, Bautista, and Olivo hit back-to-back-to-back homeruns on consecutive pitches, then McLouth and Bay followed up later in the inning with homeruns of their own. After throwing in a few doubles, the Pirates scored nine runs in the inning! After the game, Jason Stark took a stab at the Orioles pitching staff. "Baltimore better be glad they're getting Bumgarner because they sure as hell need him! I mean, when you give up seventeen runs to a team, especially one that doesn't hit the ball so well, you need help."

Final Score
Pirates: 17
Orioles: 4

W: Gorzelanny (2-3)
SV: ---
L: Albers (2-5)
HR: McClouth (8), Bay (8), LaRoche (9), Nady (10), Bautista (7), Olivo 2 (8,9), Wilson (6), Doumit (1)

3. Bay: 4-6, 3 2B, HR, 4 RBI, 2 R
4. LaRoche: 3-6, 2B, HR, 2 RBI, 2 R

The computer needs to start getting some wins for you in simulations, or else you won't make .500.

Toronto Blue Jays (42-32) @ Pittsburgh Pirates (32-42)
June 20, 2008

Pirates Overly Aggressive in Loss

The Pirates seemed jittery after an off day as they swung at everything they saw. The Blue Jays hurlers combined to throw only forty-nine pitches and averaged 1.36 pitches per batter against the Pirates. Yet, the Buccos were semi-successful, totaling twelve hits and four runs against Chacin, but Morris and company gave up one too many to the Blue Jays hitters. After Bay hit a homer in the first, the Pirates failed to score again until the eighth. After a four run deficit going in, they left the inning only trailing by one. But alas, they weren't able to score against Brandon League, the reigning Relief Pitcher of the Month, and have now lost six straight.

Final Score
Blue Jays: 5
Pirates: 4

W: Chacin (3-1)
SV: League (15)
L: Morris (5-6)
HR: Bay (10)

1. McLouth: 2-4, R

3. Bay: 2-4, HR, 2 RBI, 2 R
4. LaRoche: 1-4, RBI
5. Nady: 2-4, RBI
6. Bautista: 1-4
7. Olivo: 0-4
8. Wilson: 3-4, SB
9. Morris: ---
9a. Gomez: 0-1
9b. Tomko: ---

New York Yankees (47-31) @ Pittsburgh Pirates (32-45)
June 24, 2008

Yankees Rough Up Maholm

The Yankees showed why they're a perennial playoff team after their trouncing of Pittsburgh. Despite currently being the best pitcher right now, the Yankees hit him quickly and hard. Going into the game against the Yankess, Maholm had an ERA of 1.67. But after giving up ten runs in only six innings, it shot up to 2.39. After having his start skipped, Snell came in for the rest of the game and was lights out. He only gave up two hits and recorded five strikeouts. The offense was once again solid, scoring five runs off of Andy Pettite. But once again, the pitching couldn't quite get it done as the Pirates have lost nine straight games.

Final Score
Yankees: 10
Pirates: 5

W: Pettite (6-2)
