I find math in general to be by far the most practical class in the real world.

I mean, early English is kind of important too, but early math kind of offsets it as well, and some of the later math techniques are still used, though extremely rarely. I haven't learned anything practical in English classes in as long as I can remember. There's about a week or two in there that's about the actual language the class is named for, but it's always review of something people were supposed to still know from grade 4.


Early on it's kind of between English and Math for most important class, but I'd still probably go for Math anyway, if you don't know how to do simple addition you're really going to have some problems later, probably more so than if you use a wrong punctuation mark somewhere.

I couldn't agree more! Also, I hate that sometime during middle school, the stuff you learn becomes useless unless you end up working in that field. Knowing everything about Shakespeare would serve no point to an engineer, but to a someone who analyzes literature, it's really important.
