Friday, March 30

On the final day of the week, I decided I would get my homework done before practice, and subsequently, before I got home.

I breezed through my bio, my math was kind of hard, but I half-assed it, whatever, and my English was the easiest of the three.

I finished it up at around 3:43, and realized that I was insanely thirsty.
So, naturally, I went to the vending machine that had some water in it.
I checked my right pocket, nothing doing.
So, I checked my left pocket, still nothing...
"Well, I hope I actually brought money today." I said to myself
I checked my back pocket, and found 1 dollar!
Awesome!
Yes!
Hooray!

The water was $1.15.

Not awesome.
Not yes.
Not hooray.

I headed back down the stairs, defeated by the oddness of values my school has.
I checked my phone, it was 3:50, so I went on down to the locker room, which happened to be 9 feet to my left. So, I walked in, and was the first one there. I got changed quickly, put in my headphones, and jammed to some tunes.

The second to come in was James Strickland, our second best pitcher on the team.
"Hey Murphy." He said
I waved

The rest of the team filtered in, and we were all eventually there, with Lawrence being the last to arrive.
We went upstairs to the gym, and played some light catch.

Coach then walked in.
"Alright boys, another crappy day today. We're not really going to be doing much, the pitchers will throw some, and for fielders, you guys are free to do what you please. We should be out of here in an hour."

So, what should I do?
A. Work on the tee
B. Play catch with Jack
C. Play catch with Lawrence

I figured I might as well just work on the tee, so that's what I did.
I worked on the tee for an hour.
Not bad. (+1)

Coach called us over before we left
"Boys, our next game is Wednesday, and we'll be playing the Wheaton Knights. Now, they're not very good, but that's no reason to take them lightly. They could rightly kick our asses if we didn't take it seriously. Practice Monday and Tuesday, game Wednesday. Let's get them boys."
There was a collective "YEAH" and we were on our ways.

I got home, and since my homework was done, I had the whole rest of the day to do whatever I so pleased!

What did I please?
A. VIDEO GAMES
B. TV
C. Books
D. studying
E. homework
F. INTERNET

I decided to get jiggy with it, and watched TV, while playing video games, all the while, on the internet.

Needless to say, it was a masterful time.

Why did his vitality go up by 59? Just so it could be at 150? Nice.

With this post, I shall pass PPJ as the eighth highest poster, thus putting myself onto the front page! :D

Saturday, March 31

I called all 4 of them, since I'm a social maniac.
We went down to our local Panera Bread, and had a jolly old time.

We talked about the team, the females that have caught our fancy, and all that good stuff.

I'm really glad I made the team this year!

Sunday, April 1

It's April Fool's day!
I hate April Fool's day!

So, like every Sunday, my family and I went on a day trip.

Monday, April 2

Oi, Monday...

Classes were a drag, Ashley Burns wasn't even there, and I had 3 tests...

But math was definitely something worth talking about.

"I'll be passing back the tests today." my teacher said
He handed them back, and I could feel my heart pounding almost out of my chest.
I was the third to last to get mine back, Aram got his back right before me, he got a 92.
And I got a................
71.
I'm content with that!

Anyways, the rain finally cleared up after about 4 days straight.
So, of course, practice was on the field again.

William gave us all rides like he usually does, and we were off to practice!

"Practice today's going to be pretty tough, not going to lie. We're going to be doing some fielding, hitting, and then finally, everyone's favorite, baserunning!" Coach said to us as he came over to the field.
Greattttt....

Fielding was first, so we took our positions.
Coach hit pop-ups to the outfield, and then some sharp grounders to the infield, like he usually does.
Lawrence made a nice diving stop, and throw to first.
William had no trouble making his play.
And then it was to me.

Coach threw the ball in the air, took a swing, and hit a dinky little grounder to me.

What did I do?
A. Charge it
B. Wait for it to come to me
