My only real complaint with the game is that there aren't any difficulties high enough to make winning a game an actual challenge.

You must be a lot better than me at this game.

Well, that at least makes this log more interesting, without a mercy rule happening every game.

I agree with this statement, I have the same gripe with Power Pros

Steven Davis disagrees with this statement.

Game 2: Bowser Jr. Fangs @ Mario Fireballs (Fangs lead 1-0)

Final Score: Fangs 3, Fireballs 2 (Fangs win series 2-0)

Bowser Jr. Fangs
1. Paragoomba - 0-2, 2 K
2. Gooba - 0-2
3. Wario - 1-2, HR, 2 RBI, R
4. Waluigi - 1-1, R
5. King Boo - 0-1, K
6. Boo - 1-1, 2B
7. Bowser Jr. - 0-0, RBI
8. Magikoopa - 0-1
9. Dry Bones - 1-1, R

Mario Fireballs:
1. Baby Mario - 1-2, CS
2. Toad - 2-2, R
3. Mario - 0-2
4. Koopa Troopa - 2-2, 2B, RBI, R
5. Paratroopa - 1-2, RBI
6. Blue Pianta - 0-1
7. Blue Noki - 1-1
8. Shy Guy - 0-1
9. Monty Mole - 0-1

Recap:
1st - In the top of the first, the Fangs were shut down quickly by Mario. In the bottom of the inning, Baby Mario started things off with a single, but was caught stealing. Toad then got a single of his own, and after a Mario flyout, scored on a double pulled down the right field line by Koopa Troopa, giving the Fireballs a 1-0 lead. Paratroopa kept things going with an RBI single, but the inning then ended with a popout to second base.

2nd - In the top of the second, Bower Jr. came up to the plate with runners on second and third and just one out. Mario's pitch came hurtling in, and it was crushed to deep left field. Fortunately for the Fireballs, Blue Noki was able to make the catch at the wall; however, Waluigi was able to score, narrowing the Fireballs' lead to one. Blue Noki led things off in the bottom of the second with a perfectly placed bunt single, but any potential for a rally was snuffed as Shy Guy hit into a fielder's choice and Monty Mole a double play.

3rd - The start of the third inning was promising for the Fangs. Dry Bones pulled a sharp line drive into right field to put the tying run on with nobody out, but Mario quickly settled in, striking out Paragoomba and retiring Goomba on a flyout. With an 0-2 count on Wario, however, the pace of the game changed quickly, as Wario hit a monster home run into the left-center field stands, giving the Fangs the lead. Waluigi struck out, but the Fireballs' work was cut out for them. The start of the bottom of the third was bleak, with Baby Mario being robbed on a great diving play by second baseman Wario, but Toad was able to slap a base hit to right. Mario flew out once again, but Koopa Troopa rocketed a line drive base hit up the middle. For a moment, it looked like the Fireballs had a chance, but a lineout to third by Paratroopa ended the game and the Fireballs' hopes at a championship.

Actually I did have some other problems with the game, one being that you couldn't add a bunch of different colored same players on to the team, like you couldn't have Hammer Bro and then add Boomerang Bro, for example.

Which added to my other complaint, that there just weren't enough players to make a bunch of different teams, if there were enough players to make a handful of teams, I probably would have done a log of this years ago.

Yeah, most of the players are on multiple teams (Monty Mole, Mickey Mole, Matty Mole, :P).
