Hmm, looks familiar.

I liked that idea. ;)

I threw the pitch, and it hit the outside corner, at what point the catcher stood up and yelled "strike!"
The coach said "Nice pitch!"
I threw a few more, only missing the zone once.

Next, the coach said "ALRIGHT, now we're testing control. You can throw whatever pitch you want, as long as you get it into the strike zone!"

What should I throw?

I threw a cutter, but it cut outside at the last minute. The coach said "C'mon!" (-1) I shrugged sheepishly.

"Next, we're going to do some hardcore conditioning!" There was a collective groan from the bench.
"35 pushups, 50 sit ups, and 5 laps around the field!"

What should I do?
A. Plow through everything (+20, -10 HUGE VITALITY RISK, but very good payoff)
B. Take it slowly but surely (+10, -5)
C. Go at my own pace (+5, -3)
D. Gag myself (-20)

I took it slow, and was one of the last people to finish, but the coach said "Great job pacing yourself!"
I replied "Thank you" and sat down to take a rest.

"Alright, one last thing!" the coach yelled.
"Even though you guys are pitchers, what bad does batting practice do?"
"We're going to be going through some basic bunting and hitting today."
The team looked surprised, but happy.

"First, we're going to work on bunting." the coach said

What should I do?
A) Bunt it down the third base line (+10, -5)
B) Bunt it down the first base line (+5, -5)
C) Just go with the flow (+1, -3)
D) Run into the ball really hard hoping for a home run (-20)

First of all, thanks for not quitting on this like I did.

Ooh, I'm a good bunter!

A, definitely.

I bunted it down the third base long, but I didn't have great speed, so even though it was a well-executed bunt, I was thrown out by a step or two.
"Almost got it!" the coach yelled.

"That's all for today!" the coach said. We all packed up our stuff and I drove home.
When I got home Peter rang me up and asked me about practice. Then he asked if I wanted to get lunch and maybe shoot some hoops with him.

What should I say?
A) Yes
B) No
C) I'll call you back after I shower
D) I have a crush on you

A.

And for the record, I'm Peter and he's Pete. I can see how you were confused.

Whoops, lol. I'll try and remember that.

I replied "Yeah, sure!"
Pete then said "Meet me at Burger King at 2:00."
I took a quick 15 minute shower and rested a bit before heading out.
I got to the front of the line at Burger King and the cashier asked me what I would like to order.

What should I order?
A) Burger, fries, soda
B) Burger, soda
C) Just a burger
D) Just fries
E) Just soda
F) Hawaiian pizza

I said to the cashier, "I'll have Hawaiian pizza." To which he looked at me strangely and said "we don't serve pizza here..."
I said "I know, I'm just screwing with you. I'll have a burger and fries."
Pete ordered the same as me, and after we ate we went down to the basketball court downtown.

A few guys came up to us and we started a pickup game.

What should my strategy be?
A) Set picks and drive to the basket
B) Take threes from downtown
C) Pass a lot
D) Huck the ball from half-court

I think I played pretty well. My team won, 11-9, and I won the game on a sexy three pointer. That and a layup were the only two shots I made, but they were the only two shots I attempted.
"Nice job, man," the head of the people who greeted us said (his name was Scott).
"What's your name?" I asked
Scott replied with "Scott."
"I work the MLB draft sometimes. I'll put in a good word for you."
We exchanged numbers.

Well, today I had a scrimmage. The first of the season.

I was coming out of the bullpen today, and a junior was starting.
I came in during the 5th inning with runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out. A great power hitter was up and the score was 3-2, us.

What should I do?
A) Work the count, hoping to catch the batter sleeping (+10, -10)
B) Try to blow the hitter away with fastballs (+5, -3)
C) Try to catch the batter guessing with off-speed pitches (+3, -1)
D) So much pressure!!!! (-20)
