Knights Move Onto Japan Series!

Blue Stadium, Sakyō-ku, Kyoto - Knights sweep the Hawks, and shall be playing the Samurais once again! This should be a tough one.

Knights Win! Knights Win!

Yamanote Stadium, Sakai, Osaka - The Knights have done it. Two years running, the Knights have beaten their rivals, the Samurais, in a 7 game epic for the Japan Series Crown. And by God, was this one a tight one. Let's jump right into where it got juicy, shall we? The Knights had an 8th inning lead, with Samurais' pitcher Riku Hirabayashi coming up to the plate with a runner on second. Now, Hirabayashi is no slacker when it comes to hitting, regarded as the best hitting pitcher in the league. Ohtonari knew this, and tried to strike him out with a huge curveball, Hirabayashi saw threw this, and smashed a 2-run-come-from-behind homerun to give the Samurais a lead going into the 9th.

Thankfully though, Fukuchi was leading off the inning, and he cranked a solo homerun to tie the game up at 4! In come extra innings, or rather, the extra inning.

The top of the tenth was a 1-2-3 inning by Fujii, although Aoyama almost got himself a walkoff homerun, but Matsunaga made a nice jumping catch to get him out.

The bottom half of the tenth though, started off with a pinch-hit double by Tohno, who was then pinch-run for by the new addition, veteran Takahiro Suzuki. Matsunaga came up to the plate, and got jammed. But, he managed to bloop it into center, where Aoyama, with his fantastic arm, waited. Suzuki put it into overdrive, trying his hardest to score from second. The throw was just a bit off-line, and Suzuki's fantastic slide allowed the Knights to take a 5-4 lead! They would add another run thanks to an RBI single by Kura to make the score what it would stay as, 6-4.

Congratulations to the Knights on winning the Pennant two years in a row!

I am very confident that this dynasty will win at least 10 championships in the 20 years you control the team (if you make it that long, that is).

Congrats on another win!

After all of the celebrating for winning the Japan Series had come to a close, it was back to work.
And I immediately called up by Preston, who told me to go down to his office to look at some players he had found.
I got there, and went into his office.
"Hey Jack! Great win, eh?" He said
"I would say! Stephen's been vocally beating me up since that game!" I replied
"Well, anyways, remember that Maeda kid I showed you?"
"I do, why?"
"Well, I've found someone to potentially compete with him."
"Oh yeah, who is he?"
"Well, first off, he's playing on the Chinese national team for the Japanese/Chinese game that will be coming up in March. And also, he's very good."
"Alright, who is he?"
"His name is Mitsuo Reiza. He's got some speed, a damn good arm, he'll get a ton of hits, only problem though is that he won't produce good power numbers. And has the potential to make a fair amount of errors."
"What are his stats?"
"They are:

Mitsuo Reiza - OF
AGE, 2ND POSTION, B/T, TRJ, CON, POW, RUN, ARM, FLD, E RES
19, N/A, L/L, 2, A, F, A, A, D, D
Bio: Japanese born, Chinese raised Reiza is one hell of a player. He's an up-and-coming star in the Chinese high school circuit. Also, he's going to be playing on the national team, which is pretty impressive.
Personality: He's conceited, but he's still grounded, a bit"

"This is a tough decision." I said
"Well, let's go over pros and cons of both." Preston said
"Fair enough. Go."
"Reiza is a better hitter in general, plus he's a better runner. Whereas Maeda is a better fielder, has a better throwing arm, and is a bit kinder. They're both left-handed batters, Reiza throws left-handed, Maeda-right. They both struggle with power, but that's fine, as they'll be in the 9 spot. Speaking of that, we should probably be thinking of which one would fit better in the 9 spot. What do you think Jack?"
"I'm not sure... What do you think?"
"I think.............. (PPJ?)"
"Very well. I'll call up Ryan and Bryan and see what they think."
"Alright!"
"See ya, Preston."
"Bye Jack."

I left to call Ryan and Bryan to see what they thought about it.

PPJ, dish, mac, wat do?

"Preston, sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you with my decision of either Reiza or Maeda... It seems we lost Maeda anyways to the Buffaloes... But, Reiza seems to be the popular choice!" I said to Preston over the phone
"Very well! We'll be playing the game against China on March 5 thru March 12, and then after that, we'll have a 2 week period to sign any Chinese players. Note that everyone else will be doing this too, so we should go for Reiza quick."
"Fair enough. By the way, do you know who's made the Japanese team? And also the Chinese team's roster as well?"
"Sadly, I do not."
"Do you have any clue who might?"
"Kensou would, he's managing the Japanese team."
"Alright! I'll go down to his office."
"Okay. See you Jack."
"Bye."

I hung up, and drove on down to the office building, and went into Kensou's office.
"Kensou! Who made the team?" I asked
"Team? What team?" He replied, bewildered
"The Japanese National team!"
"Oh, of course! I can't believe you don't know!"
"Well... Yeah... But... Hey, so, who's on it?"
