This is just help for anyone who does Sittch's ninja training (it's done at the lake when you see his picture).
Finished!

Activity 1: It's pretty straightforward. Just pick which one is him. You can get abilities and points based on how many guesses you get right.

Activity 2: No decisions, just an event.Motivation Down.

Activity 3: When he asks what glove you dropped, pick neither and he will give you a free glove.

Activity 4: This is where I'm stuck, it says press A when blue stars appear, but they don't appear unless I press A and there is no pattern to it. Any advice?
Figured out, just press A as fast as possible.

Activity 5: Same as 1 except I didn't get any abilities.

Activity 6: Dodge ninja stars, he tells you where he's throwing them although it doesn't stay on the screen long. You need to memorize 5 places.I made a chart.

Arm / Leg
Right 1 2 /4 5
Left / 3

The above are just examples. There is no pattern. Try to write the numbers quick or as I did when I succeeded I memorized everything as 2 letters instead of words. Example: The above would be R.A, R.A, L.L, R.L, R.L.
If you dodge them all you get more quickness points and your motivation won't decrease like it would if you get hit (they're rubber  )

Activity 8 (Last one): Throw a shuriken at him. Using the same technique as 1 and 5, it's really easy you just have to do it once, I got contact hitter and E Res+1. Pitchers get original pitch.

After that when you meet him you just practice baseball. I got E Res+1 and some points.
After the first time it's not worth it, vitality-30 and all you get is some points.

"It's worth noting that if you keep practicing at the lake, eventually, Sittch will say he can't do it anymore, and give you a "Legends of Baseball" book."

I don't need that book anyway though. I already have all abilities except Intimidator.

Any questions?

I was getting some red stars but I couldn't quite figure it out either. He saids it has to be with timing.

I just mashed the A button as fast as I could. I knew at least a few of them would be in time. It's really difficult to judge

Me too. At the beginning, when it is slower, you can time it alright. But when it starts going fast, I just mash as fast as possible, and if I'm not hitting it right, I'll pause for a second and start mashing again so that my timing is hopefully corrected.

Actually if you have the manager bar high enough it's not too bad of an idea to train with Sittch as it gets you more exp than in most practices.

Any tips for the timing of the water walking? I have no idea how to make it even kind of work.

It's worth noting that if you keep practicing at the lake, eventually, Sittch will say he can't do it anymore, and give you a "Legends of Baseball" book.

Do you have to be able to successfully do the water walk?

Yes... It's when you practice with him a lot. At the end...

So what's your best waterwalking strategy? Do you really just pound 'A' the whole time?

I'll pitch in here, I've managed to get past the water walking twice now, both times just by mashing the A button. You only have to hit like (I'm guessing) 1 out of every 10 stars or so. I put my index and middle fingers together, start mashing with my index, when it gets tired, switch quickly to the middle. It ain't pretty but it works. Hope that helps.

About 4-5 stars per line is enough. Button mash like a madman.

I am trying to see if there is an end to Activity One if you keep guessing right. At some point, he moves so quick you don't even see him move. I have yet to guess correctly on that one. It's really hard since after the 7th or 8th guess, it's so quick it's basically guesswork. I know after the 7th guess, you get Pickoff if you're a pitcher and I believe B2B and Hot Hitter as a fielder. Was wondering if you can get more abilities.

Not sure what controllers any of you are using but I'm using the wii-mote and chuck. In order to pass the water walking test I took it old school and slid my finger back and forth across the a button. Just put it down like you're going to tap it but slide back and forth as fast as you can. If that doesn't work for you it never hurts to get a pen or something (back on the old NES controllers I would use a spoon to mash both A and B repeatedly.) Since I started the slide to push versus the mashing passing the water walking is rather easy.

Hope it helps some.

For the 2nd meeting, if you pick "tree" you won't lose motivation.
