One thing I've never been able to figure out is how/when "Likability" becomes available on your data screen (4th option, right after Eval - shows the heart levels of the different girls). It seems like some play throughs I have it, some I don't, and sometimes I don't have it but at some point it shows up.

Anyone know the secret?

Have never seen that one. If it is there I have totally missed it.

I think it has something to do with your ladies man rating but don't quote me on that.

After you obtain Psychic Goggles.

Just wanted to confirm that this is accurate, picking up the psychic goggles unveils the Likability eval on your data screen. I guess why it has been random for me is that I don't buy the psychic goggles anymore, so I only end up with them if I get them in a random event. Although this last time I did buy them because I was trying to track progress with Becky :)

This is the only thing I use the psychic goggles for, so after I check where the ladies are I reload my game so I'm not stuck spending my hard earned cash on them...

I always get the goggles because I'm really bad at the gameplay otherwise ...

They actually aren't that bad for the AS game at the end....although they choose wrong sometimes they're accurate enough to be effective. J-Gao has been an advocate of the psychic goggles for some time and now that I've checked them out I have to agree with him.

Good call; I don't know if I would've ever beat the AS game if I hadn't picked the rookie charm up at your recommendation, and the goggles were the icing on top.

I don't like goggles for hitting because you can just react to the ball icon moving and when it's wrong you have almost no chance of getting a hit. For pitching, it's very useful since I'm not that good.

You had to buy the rookie charm? It's been part of my starting gear in both of my success modes. As far as the goggles go, maybe it's a psychological boost for me, but I sure seem to do better when I'm using them.

I usually sell it off to get the exp boost, but this time around I bought it torwards the end of the third year just to see if it would help.

OK one thing on the goggles.

They seem to be wrong whenever your hitter character is up. No joke. Otherwise it was just a bad set of random rolls for me.

I noticed that the goggles are wrong about 20% of the time for the hitters. But it is right often enough to be a huge advantage.

I'm with slazz on this one... i just have waaay too much bad luck with those things.... 2 quick Ks and then 3 hits in a row... can't close out an inning 1-2-3 with those things.
