In our last games, we beat the Twins 6-2, and tied the Mets 5-5. The pitchers all improved.

Stranglers Open Up With a Win

Scranton
Atlanta

The banner was raised. Rings were given out. A walk down memory lane, but then it was time for buisness. Smoltz was facing McCartney and it wouldn't be pretty.


The scoring opened up when Pablo ripped a homer on the first pitch the Stranglers would see all year. It was a bomb.


The Stranglers continued in the second. Lennon got on with a double down the right field line. Keith Richards followed with an opposite field shot making it 3-0.

The scoring was the same until the sixth. Kennedy led off with a single, stole second, and stole third on back to back pitches. Howard hit a single and Chris scored making it 4-0.

The Braves finally got on the board in the seventh. Chipper Jones got a double and Mark Teixera hit a two run bomb after that making it 4-2.

Paul got out of the inning unscathed. WildThing got the hold and Wilson got the save.

FINAL SCORE

Scranton: 4
Atlanta: 2

WP: McCartney
LP: Smoltz
Save: Wilson
MVP: McCartney

Prior is sad that he didn't get a ring, and wipes his eyes on his bionic arm.

Paul learns he is given an honorary foot ring instead of a regular hand ring. As for his pitching, he is incredibly happy that his only blemish is to Tex, who I'm convinced is a cyborg.

Howard parlays his earning of a ring into a sponsorship for a jewelry company.
