I don't really like the thought of interleague play almost constantly because I liked having it rarely so it's more of a special occasion almost. But that's just me.

I had no school today, because of state football. We lost 40-0. Our good running back was playing on 2 sprained ankles.

As for interleague play, I would rather see the Astros face the Nationals ten times in a row than the Phillies play the Mariners. (Bad analogy, I know becase 'Stros/Nats WILL be interleague play in a couple of years ).

After some thought on this matter, I think the optimal outcome is:

Step 1: Astros move to the AL West in 2013, even out leagues, and cause continuous inter league play.

Step 2: Continuous interleague play goes on for a few years and public opinion is either decidedly for or against it.

Step 3: A few years down the road when the economy is righted, add two expansion teams, Billings and Vancouver perhaps, to even out leagues. Astros may or may not move back to NL.

Conclusion: Leagues are now equal and the MLB can choose whether or not to keep continuous interleague play. Split into four divisions in each league, so that divisions are also equal.

I agree with everything you said except for the fact that I would rather put a team in Las Vegas (Selig probably wouldn't allow it, but he'll likely be retired by then) than Billings.

Teams in Scranton and Brooklyn would be awesome! I agree with everything else berkman said, though.

It would be interesting to have 2 new teams added. I wish we had some kind of baseball simulator to see how it might play out.
