Some are concerned that Darvish won't be posted now..

If he was, I suspect NYY, Texas, Toronto, and KC would be in on him.

I don't know if KC will be able to outbid the other three teams, though. The Nationals will probably be bidding for him strongly as well if they don't get C.J. Wilson.

True. If KC didn't bid on him, then I expect they'd go for SP through the trade market.

Oh yeah, and Washington will likely be in on him too.

My first thought was the Royals, but then I figured that their pockets aren't nearly deep enough to compete in a bidding war. Besides, I don't think they'll be major playoff contenders for another season or two, and most of these players they're supposed to rely on are largely unproven.

I think he'll go to any team that has a decent offence and a good payroll
