Also, we had a mock trial today about Columbus. I was the defense we all played are roles perfectly, we made the prosecution look like fools... AND we lost. It was a kangaroo court. I'm really pissed about it, too.

We were given documents about the trial and they never mentioned Columbus's name. It wass his men. It doesn't really matter anyway. Everyone thought he was guilty the first day, but when the defense got to question our witnesses, the vote went from unanimous to 9-4. All the kids had there minds made up before the trial, so we did pretty well.
