Here's what I think (and although I like Madson):

Papelbon is on a higher level than Madson, has more closing experience, and if Madson signs elsewhere, the Phillies will actually move up higher in the draft (Boston gets 30th pick, say Washington signs him they'll take their pick, which is higher up).

So it's a good deal.

Madson was offered a deal, but it was rejected. Now I'm pretty sure he signs somewhere else.

My dad's got you beat there. Now he has the normal stuff, his favorite band is the Stones, his second favorite the Beatles. Got a lot of classic rock. But then he has Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, stuff like that. He also has Hannah Montana, and Kidz Bop, and Brittany Spears (he's a father of five, don't blame him for that). He also has classical and Monk chants. He has jazz and folk. He's got 8-10,000 songs and he says he's getting bored when he looks through them. :lol:

10,000 songs... I shudder to think. I own 400-500 songs and I'm perfectly happy. I've got a list of a few hundred songs that I'll buy whenever the money comes my way, but 10,000.... That'll take me a while.

Psh... That was a ballpark estimate. My dad has an 80 GB Original I Pod and he isn't even halfway to filling it up. :wink:
