Once the mods and DS have a fool proof method to split the stuff on the wiki, we'll do it. We have a organizational chart that lays out the pages but most of us are a lack for time to work on the pages and it takes a few days to make sure everyone's put in their input.
When we've decided how to organize things properly, we'll need to change each and every stinking page to comply with the new format. The hard/miserable way is by hand (you'd have to pay me to do that). The fastest way is to use a Wiki robot to move pages and tag them with a 2007 or 2008 tag. Of course, this involves PHP coding, which isn't my best language to code in (nor is it DS's).
Once we've sorted the pages and gotten a skeleton of the 2008 topics up (so you guys don't start spraying information just anywhere
) we'll open up the wiki for additional input on the topics. If time and effort permits (and if my OCD prevails over laziness), I'll see if I can get you layout concepts for each page type (items, events, etc) to make things a bit more uniform (like the info box).Of course, I'd love it if guys (or ladies) who have significant wiki experience (or at least know how to model pages of wikipedia or other professional wiki) could volunteer their services in making the site uniform and professional looking.
