I am trynig to upload a new version of an image - I modified the depth chart for my team's home page. when I try to resave the file, I get this: Quote: Internal error From MLB Power Pros Wiki Jump to: navigation, search Could not rename file "public/Depth_chart_2008_.jpg" to "public/archive/20090312135428!Depth_chart_2008_.jpg". This has been happening for a few weeks - I simply change the Wiki page to call a new image name, and upload the new image. But that's not the best use of space...any idea why this is happening or how to fix? Thanks |

I've noticd that this has happened to me as well in uploading the king crabs. What's the deal? |

Seems either A) we've hit a limit on archive space (unlikely, since you've uploaded other images) B) Darkshade jumbled the permissions on the folder C) something technical dealing with the wiki software and image history. Since every time you upload and replace an image, the "older" image is saved in the history (for rewinding sake). Since the wiki can't save the file into the history, it halts the replacing process. Your workaround is fine, the other workaround is to "delete" the image and upload it new. |
