Post subject: | Trying out Odwali's strategy |
Hi guys I am trying out Odwali's strategy, and so far so good. I am doing a Breaking Ball pitcher so his top speed is staying at 75 though. It isn't even Christmas of year 2 and I already have a maxed Fosh ball and a level 3 CB which I will switch to a slurve at level 7. My hopes: 75-80 top speed, 120 CTRL, 140-150 STAM, 7 Fosh, 7 Slurve, 7 SC, 3 2SFB My guy at November week 4 year 2: 75 mph, 105 CTRL, 120 STAM, 7 Fosh, 3 CB I will post password and name and abilities in a new thread, but tell me how I am doing so far. |

Why do you change the pitch at the end? If you plan to S/L anyways, it's a waste of time |

What do you mean I change it when it is a level 7 so I don't have to spend so many points, which really buys me time |

I know, but if your S/L anyways, it's a waste of time |

You know what, just nevermind. You don't need my help, you can do everything perfect on your own because you are the master of Success Mode. So forget I ever said anything, because obviously, you don't need any input. |

Odawali's strategy doesn't seem fully specific. In the first place, which stretch do you do Shadow Training? What do you do during the first year (work or practice)? How do you get the Gambler's Ring? I'm not angry, just asking. |

It'd be more specific if you were to read through the thread where he posts more information. And IDK, I always just used tickets |

I'll try working and studying until coach appears in year 1, then working on top speed, breaking pitches, and buying gambler tickets. |

Yes...This is what I do Anthony, I practice Weight all the way until I have a B for STAM. Then when Bison shows up I use up all my money on tickets. Now that I have tickets I do one turn of breaking ball practice, then I save, then I s/l until I succeed on my gamble of whatever breaking ball pitch I want, I do this until I have 1 level 7 pitch, then if I want to do top speed (Which with this guy I don't so I don't do this) I do shadow pitching one turn save and s/l until a successful gamble. After your tickets are gone make sure you have a challenge card and go to work and use it. You will get 120 dollars. Spend all that on tickets. Keep repeating this util you are done, then spend extra points on CTRL STAM and Abilities. I hope this helped. |

Yeah, it does. Thanks! I'm not gonna try it for about a month, though. |

But if you were working on top speed too (which is typically the main point of this strategy since it's hard to get great top speed), you would only do shadow pitching, not breaking ball practice |
