Post subject:  Kosuke Fukudome RF, CF, SS for PS2
Well, I know there was a password for Kosuke on the Wii but that does us PS2 owners no good. Here is my hopefully more realistic version of Kosuke Fukudome, right fielder for the Cubs this season. I gave him second positions in CF and SS because he used to play mostly CF in Japan but came into the league as a SS.

There are some flaws with this one, (position, abilities), but he's a very playable guy:

Yeah, I hear you Odawali. I really didn't think I should have made him this good but I think his power is about right since he averaged 30 or so homers his last few years, and his fielding stats are about right(maybe should have been 14) since he won four gold gloves. If anything it probably should have been his contact that is lower but I ran into Dr Gj after the Champion Rings game and used a Yes card and figured "What the hell?" and just saved it anyways.

I think Fukudome will end up with Abreu-like numbers and thus similar Power Pros stats.

For anyone interested these are his stats from various Japanese Power Pros series. The chart is missing the most recent releases (JPP14 is the latest) but you get the general idea. Also note the power ranks work differently; 140+ is an A and 110-139 is a B. For comparison purposes, here are Akinori Iwamura's stats.

Edit: Also forgot, contact used to be on a 7 scale.

Wow, for so many gold gloves between the two, they're really not given very good fielding or throwing stats, even though both have the throwing ability and everything.

Hopefully in the next game you'll be able to go back and edit, or at least lower or erase, some abilities and give negative abilities. However I doubt that will happen very much.

You're both very welcome, he was definitely a fun character to create; even if I did make him a little too good. :mrgreen:
