Posting:

* Individual players should be in their own thread, with the full name of the player and position(s) in the title. Don't add superlatives or any other shout outs to it... we will see your guys...
* If you post a team or a set of players, add players by editing your starting post so they're all in the same post. A bump to announce the edit is appropriate.
* Posting images are fine, provided they are small in dimension and data. 800x600 and ~50Kb should be the biggest you can post inline (using the [IMG] tag), anything larger, post a link or a clickable thumbnail instead.
* If you have wiki rights, add your player(s) and team(s) there as well!

the only time I got an ability was from Rex's glove after I got it before second year games. I made 2 pitchers that I'll post tomorow. I find buying the equipment requires too much money without selling your stuff. That means I'm wasting time working instead of increasing abilities.

Has anyone made a guy with 255 power yet?

How about a Create the Ultimate DH race. To qualify the hitter must have 255 Power, 15 Contact, 4 Trajectory, Power Hitter, Slugger, Intimidator. The rest doesn't matter (Preferably all G's in running and fielding-related attributes ).

this is a question for The-F.

Why make yankee players that already exist?

Why not make Babe Ruth or Micky Mantel.

Ruth would be a guy that I would love to see made perfect with a great strike zone that cover it all, just like my Reggie Jackson.

That would be absolutely sick!!

If you could give Babe Ruth some pitching abilities ...

What does the "GENIUS" next to Robinson Cano mean? Is it an ability?

For the movie theme players, how about the guys on the movie Major League.

Willie Mays Haze
Wild Thing
etc...

For other real MLB players.

P. Fernando Valenzuela

and Jackie Robinson.

When I viewed my charcters, Cano had genius instead of normal on the right of the name and position bar on the top left. I don't know what it does, but it sounds like it is important. I didn't plan out the names of my players like I did with success mode. They were just the names off the top of my head that played the position.

And here are my two SP that I've made.

I played with your hitters. I love how they all look exactly alike.

Actually I just started this week switching over from remaking friends and old teammates to remaking Hall of Famers. I've done two of your list so far (Wii), Ozzie Smith and Nolan Ryan. They're the first two entries on this page, and I have some other non-MLB players I've made on there as well.

Here are the stats:

Oh, I *slightly* messed up on Nolan Ryan. Had a brain freeze when I created him and selected Houston as the favorite team rather than the Angels. My concept was the 1973 California Angels Nolan Ryan (which is why I gave him uniform #30 and not #34, and listed him with 5 years in the majors). The only other thing is that I think I just missed being able to nab Intimidator from Becky, I had 8 hearts on the Likability scale at the end.

With Ozzie, I had the 1985 version in mind (after he had developed into a good hitter). I threw "Poise" in there as a bit of a joke, in that I had some leftover mentality points at the very end and nothing else to do with them.

Trying to decide who I want to do next. Some on my list are -

Wade Boggs (1987)
Lou Gehrig (1927)
Babe Ruth (1927)
Lou Brock (1974)
Bruce Sutter (1982)
Willie Mays (1954)
Ted Williams (1946)
Cy Young (1901)
Bob Gibson (1967)
Ty Cobb (1911)
Mickey Mantle (1961)
Sandy Koufax (1963)
