where is patrick's stance?

My Mike Lowell character has it. I clicked yes on the random event w/ Peter when he asks to help me change my stance. It is really sweet. I was waiting forever to have one of my characters change it to that.

yeah, if the prospects end up half as good, that'd be great - for real life, of course.

what do they look like?

Like all my other characters and I'm regretting my strategy for breaking balls. Hughes needs a slider to really dominate. Right now he is close to Clemens but he doesn't have as many strikeouts. Now I've got 5 starters and all 9 fielders for my success mode team!

I guess you're not going for realism? I mean, obviously Hughes doesn't have a knuckle ball, or a vertical slider, or A control, or A stamina Jeter is also more like C power, 2 trajectory, and B speed, and C arm strength (average for his position). I'm not criticizing, just asking if that was your intent.

of course not.

Just trying to make them best possible - I don't think the names have any correlation other than team and position.

I've seen his other players, I know he's into maxed out guys - but his other guys haven't been "real life" players if I remember right?

Looking back at that post, I don't want my message taken to be rude. The "of course not" refers to the fact that the characters are not realistic, not that Wyl hasn't seen them - which my previous statement mentioned.

Anyway, his other guys have been named, Robinson Cano, Barry Bonds, Jorge Posada, Alex Rodriguez, Roger Clemens, and other Yankees. He's made two other guys - 1B McBeth and DH Powner.

I goofed up and posted this in the HoF thread instead of this thread, so I'll duplicate it here -

Here's a new one that turned out well - hall of fame closer Bruce Sutter (1982 Cardinals). The B stamina might look funny for a closer, but Sutter pitched a lot of his career during the time closers routinely pitched 3 innings, and he did that a few times a week. So I wanted him to stay pretty strong throughout the season.
