Mine is a catcher I got in the 2007 season, Esquivel. 5 years later in 2012, he has all B's and C's except power which he has an E. (almost a D though)

Having Only had one draft, I got a so-so left fielder named Villanueva (something like that), he's in AAA right now because i got Melky for Joe Bisenius and Abraham Nunez (Great Wood). In the 4 or 5 games he played, he managed a couple RBIs and a homer, his stats arn't that great, and he has a G  in E resistance, but that is getting worked on. I'll post the rest as soon as I can.

...the guy's name is "Great Wood" in the game?
I just recently got a really decent shortstop named Liu. Had nothing below E for stats (the only E was E Res.) and came with the Gold Glover ability.

I drafted a pitcher...
Sandberg
92 mph
148 ctr
103 sta

Lvl 3 Slurve
Lvl 1 change
Lvl 1 slider
Lvl 1 cutter
Good Delivery

He had a 1.22 ERA his rookie season, thats just phenominal. He pitched in the same season he was drafted in. This year he looks like this...
92 mph
148 control
103 stamina

Lvl 4 Slurve
Lvl 3 change
Lvl 1 slider
Lvl 1 cutter
Good Delivery

Now he has a 4.50 ERA in his 2nd season, he had a very bad start, but has lowered his ERA from 12+ to 4.50. He has really been lights out lately.

I also drafted Sedlacek, a pticher, this season...
Sedlacek 4**** potential
86 mph(now 87)
113 control
119 stamina
Lvl 3 Slider
Lvl 2 Curve
Lvl 2 Change

I also drafted a Knuckleballer, Acuna...
80 mph
119 control
60 Stamina

Lvl 2 Knuckleball(now Lvl 3)
Lvl 1 Slider

I'm working on making him have a devistating Knuckleball, he is almost at Lvl 4 now.

I have about 6 other drafted players in my minors, all pitchers, which most were picked up from free agency because they had a couple pitches each and I knew I could develop them.

Post subject:  Re: Who's your best drafted player?

I've got a few players I'm working on right now that I'm hoping can perform at the major league level by next season:

Meyers (AGE: 27) - LHP
TOP SPD: 91 MPH
CTRL: 125 (D)
STAM: 83 (C)
SLD - 2
CB - 3
SPLT - 2

Meyers would be perfect as a reliever right now, but I think some day he could be a starter, so I'm going to have him work at that and he might be in my rotation soon once he gets his stamina up.

Barden (AGE: 27) - LHP
TOP SPD: 88 MPH
CTRL: 115 (E)
STAM: 78 (D)
SLD - 3
CB - 2
CHG - 3

Barden won rookie of the year the year he was drafted, but I got new players and had no room for him in my bullpen the following year, so I sent him back down to the minors.

Pearce (AGE: 23) - LHP
TOP SPD: 89 MPH
CTRL: 135 (C)
STAM: 81 (C)
CUT - 2
CB - 3

I just drafted Pearce last season and his abilities look pretty good for a 23 year old. I'm hoping to add him to my bullpen by next year once I get him another good pitch and work on the ones he has now, and if I get his stamina up, he could be a starter.

Yum (AGE: 25) - RHP
TOP SPD: 92 MPH
CTRL: 125 (D)
STAM: 99 (C)
SLD - 5

Yum has a wicked slider, but that's it. I'm teaching him a new pitch right now and he should be good to go at the major league level once he learns at least one new pitch, and if I get his stamina up more, he could be a starter.

Sain (AGE: 23) - C
TRJ: 3
CON: 9 (D)
PWR: 82 (F)
RUN SPD: 8 (D)
ARM STR: 10 (C)
FLD: 12 (B)
E RES: 3 (G)

As you can see, Sain's only weakness is E RES. He's almost got CON up to a C, and after that, I'll try to get his PWR up to an E, then work on E RES and he could be playing at the major league level next season.

Esquivel (AGE: 25) - C
TRJ: 3
CON: 12 (B)
PWR: 90 (E)
RUN SPD: 10 (C)
ARM STR: 11 (C)
FLD: 12 (B)
E RES: 11 (C)

Esquivel was the first player I ever drafted. I got him in the 2007 season obviously. I instantly made him my backup catcher that season, and the following season. In 2009 I made him my starting catcher, and that lasted until 2011 when I got Joe Mauer and made him my starting catcher, and Esquivel was back to being backup catcher, then the Padres offered me a trade involving Josh Bard coming to the Cubs, I accepted, and Esquivel has been back in the minors ever since. I'm hoping to bring him back up for next season.

Heavarlo CF/RF
3 trajectory
9 contact
107 power(now 113)

11 run speed
11 arm strength

9 field
10 e res

Drafted him my first year(I'm in my 2nd year now), he was a bust, as you can see he only improved one thing and that is power by 6 over 1 year, so I released him.

Gettis 4**** potential (20 years old)
84 mph(was 83)
140 control
53 stamina
Lvl 1 change
Lvl 1 splitter
Poise 2

Drafted him my 2nd year, it's only about 1 month after the draft, he already got his top speed up 1, I'm hoping to get that up to 90 by the end of the year then I'll upgrade his pitches.

Now, for the people I didn't draft...

McCleary (22 years old)
90 mph
134 control
57 stamina
Lvl 1 curve
Lvl 1 slider

I picked him up after the draft year 2, he was drafted and released by someone, I picked him up since he already had 2 pitches and 90 mph.

Shen (24 years old)
82 mph
100 control
62 stamina
Lvl 3 Slow Curve
Lvl 2 change
Lvl 1 slider
Recovery 4
Durability 4

Sparkplug

I signed him beggining of the year, and hoping he can baffle hitter with his slowness.

McCurdy(28 years old)
92 mph
128 control
52 stamina
Lvl 4 curve
Lvl 2 change
Slow Starter
PokerFace

I signed him at the beggining of the year impressed by his skills, I hope to bring him up this year.

Pachot(27 years old)
84 mph
125 control
55 stamina
Lvl 3 Foshball
Lvl 3 change

I signed him at the beggining of the year because of his foshball, I am going to give him a shot later this year and see how he performs.

update for more info on some of them...
Sandberg(25 years old)
92 mph
148 control
103 stamina

Lvl 4 Slurve
Lvl 3 change
Lvl 1 slider
Lvl 1 cutter
Good Delivery

I also drafted Sedlacek, a pticher, this season...
Sedlacek 4**** potential(22 years old)
86 mph(now 87)
113 control
119 stamina
Lvl 3 Slider
Lvl 2 Curve
Lvl 2 Change
Consistency 4

I will most likely bring him up later this year once he get's his top speed to at least 90, and then keep training up his stamina and make him a starter.

I also drafted a Knuckleballer...
Acuna(19 years old)
80 mph
119 control
60 Stamina

Lvl 2 Knuckleball(now Lvl 3)
Lvl 1 Slider
Shutto Spin(I think it's good for him because his fastball is slow so he'll have some movement on his fastball)

I'm working on making him have a devistating Knuckleball, he is almost at Lvl 4 now.

You have some pitchers that look like they might be pretty good, it just sucks that the stamina of so many pitchers is very low and if we want them to be a starter it takes forever to get up. Also, if Esquivel gets some power it looks like he'll be a pretty good player, he already has the contact, trajectory and some decent fielding run speed and arm strength stats.

But, I take pride in the players I develop once I get to see them shine in the Majors, and that's why I would like to see the season mode be longer than 10 seasons next year.

had a lf fielder with b everything (except c contact) and power hitting. He almost lit up the graph. I was playing an expansion team and drafted first. I went in not planning on drafting a fielder but when I saw the size of his graph I grabbed him. His first full year ( year 2) He had more RBI's then Ryan Howard (who I traded for). He was something like 44 hrs, and 150RBI's. Can't remember exactly. Know he had more then 40 hrs. I played alot of fast games and hit with Howard and had more homeruns with Howard.

The best expansion player ever was a pitcher with a 98mph fastball and level 4 curve and level 2 change.

Those are the best players I have ever started with that were outstanding compared to the players already playing.

Yeah, there are like 13 players like that, notably Barry Bonds (Great Gonzales). They are all named Great. There real names couldn't be put in the game. Same skills(Power, fielding etc.), different stats (HR, RBI, etc.)

I got a pitcher named Mcglinchy. He was 21 years old with c control, A stamina, 89 top speed and a level 3 curve and a level 2 changeup. He is probably my best drafted player.

C control, A stamina?! Wow! I want him! And only 21 years old?! I drafted an outfielder a few years ago who is 21 years old now, and He's got a C contact, F power, and D everything else, so I'm expecting good things from him.

The only reason I got him was because I had 102 losses! I think a championship is better!
