And I won the World Series! The game controlled every regular season and post season game and I won the World Series!

I have done this as well many times. The hardest way that I did it was with an expansion team in the first year. I traded away many of the players with cash to pick up great pitchers. I think my starting 4 pitchers were Peavy, Webb, Liriano, and kaizmer. Many of the fielders were upgraded as well. I also never reloaded from the beginning. The key was the trades. I would put 2 to 3 star packages together and throw 10,000 dollars into it and voila! THe fielders were Pierzinski (gd catcher ability seems to boost pitching), Hafner(Dh), Weeks, Fielder, Bradley, Freel, can't remember the rest and did keep the few good players that you get to start with. |

I just did that with my all-star team and had a perfect season, sweeping the playoffs.
