Is there a way to keep your players' motivation up or do you really have no control over your players' motivation?

I'm pretty sure players with Good Morale help keep up the motivation of players, so you could always try to pick up someone with good moral(it's on the screen with the green abilites). I think thats all you can do.

I think the most important thing is to keep your players rested if fatigued by placing them in fitness practice, unless you're far into the season mode and you're losing like 3 times every 100 games to the point where it doesn't matter.

I think it's completetly random. Although I think fatigued players tend to stay in slumps longer.

And to clear things up, the face icon does not represent "Motivation". It's not just limited to mental factors like mood or happiness; More like a biorhythm or hot/cold streak that every player goes through (the manual uses the term "Form") so you can't control it.

Some days you'll be on top of your game, other days you won't.

I think we can blame success mode for that.
