Okay, here's the thing. I want to buy "Practice New Breaking Ball", and I also want to buy "Practice to Change Position". I have 361,958 owner points My total player salary is 155,660 points Should I buy both and drop my owner points down to 161,958? Or should I buy only "Practice New Breaking Ball" and keep a good margin between my owner points and player salary? |

Buy both assuming that you'll be using them. |

Do you plan on winning your league, division and world series often? That's close to 100k points right there. I had 16k owner points pretty much all of last year and when I finished I had over 110,000 after the world series win. |

Keep in mind you can do both of those in the off-season without buying them, so pick the one that would be more useful to you in-season. Depends on the makeup of your team. As long as your salary stays below your earning power you're okay to buy both. Winning the World Series will bring you in 90K (playoffs and WS), but unless you jettison a good amount of salary buying both now will hamstring you next year as far as buying practice items goes. |

Well I'm in the off season right now. I just made a bunch of trades as I often do in the offseason, and my total salary dropped dramatically. I traded a few of my guys that were costing me a bunch of money. Well I guess I'll buy both. My owner points will stay above my total salary if I do. |

I don't think it's a horrible thing to have a little amount of points, I onlly have 2000 and my salary is 123000+ but I play every game so my game pays for my daily salary and I earn about 100-200 points extra each game. I have so litlle because I bought a bunch of practice equipment with the WS money from the year before. |

there's no point buying them in the off season since you get them free at this point. By the end of spring training, you'll know exactly which you'll need the most. Then you can save some of that money to buy better equipment for regular practice. |
