Am I doing something wrong or is it just the way the game works that my players are more fatigued than my opponents at the end of August?

Well if a player is getting very tired during the season than put them in Rest on the practice screen I think your supposed to use fitness and that should bring down fatiuge

Are you simming a lot of games at once? If so, you should be sure to only sim around a week or so at a time and check the fatigue levels. Give your players a rest every couple of weeks. Get the Hot Dog in the shop, put the in Rest/Fitness at Practice and take them out of the lineup and their fatigue will drop faster. If you want to keep them in the lineup, as long as you have them in Rest/Fitness with the Hot Dog, their fatigue will keep dropping just very slowly.

I usually rest my guys when their fatigue gauge gets a little less than 1/2 full. I rest them a day or two and they're at a manageable fatigue level the rest of the season.
