| Post subject: | Glitch in Season Mode? |
Every time I face the Astros and Craig Biggio gets a hit off me, the record thing comes up saying he's broken the record for most career hits. This happens every time he gets a hit. |

It does that with Griffy after awhile with Hr's/RBIs because he breaks the record that the game has saved |

actually, i suppose you could say, "it works as intended" although annoying, he is breaking the record each time, although, it's his own record and Jack shouldn't be making a GINORMOUS deal out of each successive one.... |

I played a season with the Yanks and in Clemens last game (in which he would have gotten Cy-young if he didn't get blown out three times in a row) Randy had gotten ahead of him. I quickly fixed that with a 15 strike-out game to end the season. He need 12 to tie him again. I let Clemens go the next season anyway because as good as he was he asked for too much money and I already was going to drown in debt again and barely make it up again with the world-series bonus. |

Okay, I've heard this sooo many times and I've only played a little more than a month into 2008(2nd season). Get this, I played the Astros 14 times in April, that's half the games I played the whole month. So, I had to deal with Biggio breaking the record almost every time I played them, it got unbearable, I just turned the sound off and listened to some music. Oh yeah, Biggio got hit about 5 times for making me listen to Merluzzi talk about a new era beggining. |

That's why it comes in handy to love music, I just listen to music everytime I play(which has to be well over 300 games). I haven't listened to his commentary in decades, okay not really, but you know what I mean. |

Yeah, I usually listen to a new episode, if I have one, of Cubscast (It's a Cubs podcast) every time I play a game and mute Jack. |

It's basically a bad programming job in making decisions on what's a base hit, a line drive, a pop-up, etc... If the darn Konami programmers wrote a better program to make comments a bit later in the play (like The Show does) then this wouldn't be much of an issue... It'd just be "god, that idiot jack merluzzi needs to get off the caffeine and speed". |

Yeah, I mean it was a good idea to try to have him excited on some of them, but they have the excited voice in bad spots, as in non exciting plays. |
