i wouldn't be so sure, in a video on IGN there is a part where you can decide whether the roster is 25, etc.

that and the hot/cold zones have been added

I like the bullpen controls!

With my success player team I can never remember which pitchers are my starters since their staminas are all the same. I'm glad they put labels on them.

I know, when I first played MLB Power Pros and I wanted to bring in a reliever, I thought to myself: "Wait, don't I have to warm up my pitcher first?" So I'm glad that's a new feature in 2008.

Hey, I am playing my first season, finally got into September...and I can't use any more than the usual 25 players. What's the deal? Was the Sept. 1st Roster expansion not built into the rules? I find that hard to believe, considering all the contract and AAA/MLB waiting periods they built in...does anyone know if it hits later, or if you can sub in players from AAA mid-game or something? thanks

nope. The game doesn't have the ability to expand to a 40-man roster, else they would have provided 40 men for each team (which is clear they did not).

Man, that is odd! they have so much of the rules built in...very odd to hold that particular one out. Especially considering fatigue and injuries (although injuries are not at realistic levels, thank goodness). Ok, thanks for the confirmation.

I think the September call-ups will be in MLBPP 2008. That's what they mean by 40-man roster, i think.

Yeah, this bugs me that they didn't do that. EDIT: But, I know now it will be in 2008. Go to the 2K Sports website and watch the video review preview thing for MLB Power Pros 2008.

I know! I can't wait! 40-Man rosters, hot/cold zones (which I'll probably disable because it seems like it will make the game too easy), and the thing I love is full control of your bullpen.

I noticed that too, now when we're looking for a specific pitcher for a specific situation, you know under which label to look.

I have an enormous amount of useless stuff stored in my head, so I remember just about everything, I remember who is my Lefty specialist, my middle relievers etc...but those are actually pretty easy to remember, just a little easier for me, I remember the most useless stuff but it always seems to come in handy.
