I've never been that far but i'm working on it. it sounds so horrible.

That does seem rather odd and arbitrary, no? with the draft picks, the season mode could theoretically go on forever, like PC sims do (such as Baseball Mogul). I don't get the cutoff, unless they just did it to not have all draftees...or assuming that's the max for a GM's tenure...but at least you should be allowed to GM a new team or something. Weird! |

If you have stat improvement on, season mode becomes ridiculously easy on simulation after only around the first 5 years. You'll find the computers relying on star players that are old and losing tons of stats every year or relying on drafted players improperly trained and therefore also very poor. Because of this you'll start seeing very few decent teams and none that are even CLOSE as yours. I'm not really sure if it's due to game mechanics or just that the whole ten year thing gives a nice storyline to it. It's also worth mentioning that after 15 or 20 years, you'll start seeing only drafted players, which are somewhat low in number since you pick 2 a year, and many have the same last name and none of them have a first name at all.

I personaly think it would be cool to go longer than ten years. if you have a all sucess mode players for there team then you can replace a player when they retire.
