LOL!! Ok...let's just skip the fact that I am playing evey game and am a good hitter. That aside... 4 of my starters from my Mets made the all star game. Plus 4 of my pitchers. When I check the starting teams, my other 4 starters made it as backups....so.... The Al All Stars vs. THE METS!!! We won 10-1. Pedro was the MVP for his 2 innings of one hit ball. Although the real MVP was David Wright who was 4-5 with a double, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored! Not a fan-favorite game I agree, but it is a rare opportunity and with Home Field Advantage at stake...What would you do??!! |

I always try to put as many of my players in as possible. And with pitchers, I only use my pitchers. I wonder if it actually affects fatigue. Also, the other players are usually guys that were once on my team and I traded away because of salaries - Success Mode players, or guys I trained-up a lot. |

I would normally rotate all the players but I had a chance to pit my team against the best in the AL.... And all fatigue levels are dropped to zero the day B4 the all star game. None of my players gained any fatigue for the all star game and Santana pitched 4 innings. The all star break is the end of the first half of the season and all players are regenerated for the second half....thank the baseball gods! |

It's worse than that because most of the players in the league come back in good shape. I had 2 players go cold and most of my team was red or pink. Only trouble was that the other team looked similar. If they made the all star game also they will be pink (at their best). Watch the bullpen after the break. The regenerated hitters will whack the relief staff if you dont mix it up. A good time to try some of your AAA pitchers and see who you want to trade for. |

Nice. I had a similar blow out with the Yankees in which 7 players were in and one pitcher (Clemens). My pitching stunk and my offense was unbelievable. A lot like the real Yankees, but the pitching was ten times as bad and the offense was 10 times as good. I won 12-1. The 1 run was a gift because I was playing the all-star game like the real thing and substituting players and my least favorite pitcher was up. He beat me twice, once a shutout, and was competing with Clemens for the Cy-Young (CC won it of course). |
